Reflective models help us to understand our own thinking and learning strategies. There are a lot of reflective models and we can select any according to our comfort and understanding. Here, I am going to explore Gibb's reflective cycle by Graham Gibbs in 1988 (6 stages) and Rolfe's Reflective model(3 stages) by Professor Gary Rolfe and colleagues in 2001. Here I am going to explore Gibb's reflective model and write my reflection on induction classes conducted in the last two weeks.

Our first class was hosted by course director Mr. Rob Wilson along with the other three co-hosts Mr. Isaac Obeng, Mr. Nitish Gaur, and Ms. Ogechi Ohadomere on 17th May 2021 and on the second week (24th May 2021) by Ms. Ogechi Ohodamere and Mr. Nitish Gaur. During the first week, we had so many tasks like a general quiz related to the UK and split the whole batch into the breakout rooms with questions such as introducing ourselves to our colleagues and tell about two truths and one lie. The second class was different from the first one. The common thing about the two classes was breakout rooms. However, during our second week, we discussed the three leadership qualities in our group, and end of the discussion we posted on "padlet wall" and one representative from each group should present.
Initially, before the online sessions, I was very anxious and doubtful about Aula and future learning platforms. First class was really an ice-breaking session. The breakout room was really exciting. I was a bit relieved by interacting with my new friends. During the second week, we had an in-depth discussion of our leadership qualities with our colleagues which was quite interesting.
Both sessions really went well. During the second session, we had the chance to explore padlet wall which we had no idea about. Everything went so well. It was really informative and knowledgeable. And also, the mentor resolved all the queries the students had.
We had chance to analyse different tools for instance, padlet wall. Also, think about our own leadership qualities and area to develop.
