         <description><![CDATA[<p>l’enantiomero L è uno dei 20 AA ordinari, è l’ammide dall’acido asparico.</p><p>il suo nome deriva dall’essere stata inizialmente isolata da estratti di asparago </p><p>infatti le proprietà diuretiche di questo ortaggio derivano anche dalla capacità dell’asparagina di irritare l’epitelio renale secernente.</p><p>l’asparagina è attivamente captata da cellule di alcuni tumori, che la usano per la replicazione cellulare; infatti in passato uno dei farmaci impiegati nella cura pagliativa di certe leucemie era l’enzima asparaginasi che veniva iniettato per via endovenosa, il quale nel torrente sanguigno degradava l’asparagina ad acido aspartico e ione ammonio, privando così il nutriente essenziale delle cellule leucemiche. </p><p>l’asparagine è necessaria per il metabolismo dell’alcol e inoltre assieme alla glutammina e la creatina là si può trovare tra i preparati da banco che vengono assunti in caso di astenia organica o durante lunghe convalescenze.</p><p>quest’amminoacido è presente in dosi maggiori nella parte esterna del caffè, nei germogli degli asparagi e delle patate.</p><p>infine è stato condotto uno studio oncologico nel quale si è evidenziato che l’asparagina nel caso di persone affette da tumore al seno favorisce la diffusione di metastasi.</p>]]></description>
