The single story my text set is based around is racism. Each text relates to the topic of racism and allows a better understanding for it. This topic is worth reading because it shines a light on this topic and allows you to sympathize.
My text set is based around the novel "Such A Fun Age". Protagonist Emira is racially profiled which plays part in the plot. This novel and other texts allows you to get a better understanding of racism and to empathize.
I recommend reading my text set in order. First you should read "Antiracist Baby" to set a tone for the set. Then you should read the novel and the review to get a main idea of the text set. Next you should read the article to get some information on racial profiling. Lastly you should read the poems to leave a powerful impact.
