My next step is to get wood that is either small pieces and can be glued together or one big piece that I can then begin to measure and then later carve.

Wednesday I got the wood I was going to use and figured out a better design. Today I used the bowl to make measurements that I will be cutting out. On Thursday I used the jigsaw to cut out the circles. On Wednesday I glued the pieces together . On Friday I started to use the chisels to carve the bowl-shape. Over the weekend I continued to chisel and carve away the sides.
