I have also attached my recruitment scripts. I intend to reach out to my past CYC program and the HBSCD program. I also want to email the Accessible Learning Centre at Sheridan College. If I continue to have issues with getting respondents, I will also look into contacting the Student Union to assist with advertising.

I'll be reaching out to seniors' centres, walk-in clinics, and libraries in these neighbourhoods for permission to post the flyer. Potential participants will have the option to reach out via e-mail or leave a voicemail, so as not to exclude anyone who doesn't have e-mail access.

Attached is my poster, informed consent form, and interview guide for my project: Enhancing Social Support Networks in Emergency Shelters for IPV Survivors.

For the recruitment process, I will be reaching out directly to professionals who work with IPV survivors, including shelter staff, outreach workers, mental health practitioners, and counselors. Recruitment will take place through partnerships with emergency shelters, hospitals, and IPV outreach programs.

Love to hear any thoughts and feedback! I will be sharing this poster with live links via email to many food support organizations throughout Hamilton to share with their staff lists, and hopefully handing out some smaller pamphlet sized ones to some of the busier food service locations to distribute amongst their staff and volunteers. Ideally, I'll be introducing myself and the research project to senior leadership at these organizations, and then they would send the survey out to their teams. I also plan on connecting with the Social Planning and Research Council of Hamilton to see how they can help with recruitment and distribution.

The focus of my project is to research what are the strategies that mental health workers in Ontario use to maintain or build good mental health? The importance of this study is to research support for mental health professionals that help them with feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, anxious, stressed or have any other difficulties during their everyday work life. It is important to understand the supports that mental health professionals use because this will be useful for future interventions and support.
