Application of what you learn at any workshop is always a challenge. There are so many tools. At the end of learning a new tool, I think that we should allow time to discuss how a tool can be used. From there we can open up a good discussion about creative use.

The role of teachers has changed. Some teachers have realized this and are embracing it. Some teachers have realized this and have not embraced it. Some teachers have not realized this and are not embracing it. The students we are working with don't know anything different are are waiting for all teachers to embrace it.

I think the key to taking it back to school is make an action plan with few goals and measurable action steps and post it somewhere. Start somewhere and adapt to your particular situation.

I think it is important to start with the teachers. Perhaps exposing them to 5 apps that can be used by teachers of any subject. They can master the use of those apps, and will become comfortable with integrating technology into their. lessons.
