She was a parent to them and made reasonable demands for all us. She was understanding as a parent and especially as a step-parent which you can imagine is a tough job! To this day, she still has a wonderful relationship with my sisters and they love each other very much. She helped my father make joint decisions for them and for me and was very attentive growing up.
