Variety of assignments, activities and speakers as well as being aware of the busy/stressful periods of the semester and being strategic in when to assign things (like more panels around mid terms, etc)

I like the variability of assignments and it made it much more manageable that the bulk of the work was done in the first half of the modules

Getting peer reviews was great. Also loved the collaborative nature of most activities where we got to interact with different people each time!

Great mixture of conceptual and practical examples. The class would show us examples and methods that we can actually implement in our specific teaching or researching contexts.

There could be more information about research and how to start your own lab as a new faculty member...how to differentiate yourself from your mentor and develop your own niche...different types of funding (intramural, extramural, etc.) and how to obtain them

Perhaps the duration of some of the sessions could be shortened. Some sessions felt as though we really needed all 2 hours, while others felt as though we didn’t.

The content, activities, resources, guest speakers and instructors made this program essential for our future careers.

Most speakers were very considerate and cared to make everyone feel comfortable. The format was also very structured and organized, which makes it easier on our end to be prepared. I learned a lot, thank you.

Amazing program! I highly recommend that every graduate student take it before graduating. It provided a variety of useful and applicable resources, and it was very different from other training in a positive way. Worth to register for it!

Some of the information is more geared to non-science disciplines and were not always helpful

Perhaps we can get more feedback regarding the work that we do. Also it would be even more helpful if there is more guidance towards the CTE resources/workshops that are required for this and other certificates.

The course is well prepared and covers almost every aspect required to prepare future faculty. Thank you for your efforts.

I think there is enough interest in this type of course that it could be split into two groups. Teaching focused and research focused which could be more useful. I would have loved to hear about people management, how to put together and stick to a budget, setting up a lab, etc.
