1. Be a "mediator" and support her esp in this time.

2. Still respect Jane's privacy but give teacher some ideas, maybe teacher could talk to her

3. Doing what is right over what is popular, even though it is difficult. Getting help from the right people.

1. Advise (convince) her to tell the form teacher (depending on what kind of girl she is)

* Degree of information-telling - try to get her peers to understand that jane is going through some hard time --> help her with her studies

2. if Jane is an introverted and shy girl, then all the advice above will not be relevant (RECEPTIVITY, Contextual)

* the friends may not take the lack of information seriously - they may probe even further or cant be bothered
* Factors to consider: teacher, parents, Jane's character, friends, situation

3. Being there for the person and it doesn't mean that we have to help her solve her problems - different talks of love

1. As a friend, seek help from higher authorities (eg. teacher, counsellor) to know what to do

2. Provide support by being there for the person; not leaving her out

3. Encourage her to share her problem with other peers and teachers in due time
