Pre-activity: If it is the first session and therefore we have not started the diary, we will offer books that are structured as personal diary such as: Greg's diary, Hanging diary or The Lilac Diary of Charlotte. The fact to read fragments or simply to observe them will give to children guidelines of how to write a personal diary. For example, it is written in the first person, the use of verbs is done in the past,  the text must be headed with the date of the day it is written, etcetera. When they know how this activity works, they will be asked to think and reflect the situation they want to write and to outline what they want to include.

While-activity: Write on a freeway what happened, which is their preoccupation or why are they so happy.

Post-activity: Finally, they will have to find a solution,  or simply how to improve a situation that is already good. They will also have to review the following features: Does the letter that I have made allow me to understand what I have written? Do I remember the idea I wanted to express? Is this what I wanted to say? Have I placed the date at the beginning of each text? Did I signed? Have I written in the first person? Have I used the verbs in the past?
