In the 11th grade we have to teach circular movement and also the Doppler effect. For the first one I always use the exemple of artificial satellites and of course the movement  
of the planets. For the Doppler effect I will use for the first time (it's a new program) the explanation of the red shift in the light of certain galaxies as one of the facts the sustain the Big Bang theory
