I have tears in my eyes as I write this because I can't imagine my work day without you in it! I am so grateful that my journey at Queen's brought me to French Studies and gave me the opportunity to work with you. I have learned so much from you and will do my best to hold on to and carry forward as much of your kindness and wisdom as I can. You have been the heart of French Studies for so long ... our department will miss you very much!

I am so happy for you as you begin this next phase of your journey. Enjoy the extra time you will have for travelling, swimming, and your loved ones. We look forward to your frequent return visits to Kingston Hall to hear all about your adventures!! 🤗

Qui eut cru que je m'ennuierais de la direction! Bien sûr, ce n'est pas la direction qui me manque, mais nos nombreuses discussions quotidiennes, parfois sérieuses, mais le plus souvent très drôles. C'est quelque chose qui va nous manquer beaucoup: ce mélange de rigueur et de profonde humanité qui te caractérise et qui a fait du département un endroit à la fois dynamique, ouvert, novateur (nous sommes tellement "créatifs" selon la faculté), mais aussi accueillant, drôle, chaleureux. Et parce que tu incarnais personnellement toutes ces valeurs, le département en est imprégné. Tu peux partir l'esprit tranquille, nous veillerons à ce que chacune de ces qualités demeurent.

Profite bien des nouveaux chapitres qui s'annoncent!
