The receiver of the award was Gary Michael Rose who helped save people while wounded, during a four day operation. Donald trump calls for more military action after the NYC attacks it attempts to fight back against ISIS. There was recently an attack in NYC and ISIS took responsibilities for the attack. ISIS was not proven to know about the attack or help plan it, but the responsibility they took made many Americans very mad. Trump visited China and confronts the fall of the American empire. One of Trumps main goals is to save Americas economy and get it back on track. Trump wants America to continue being the number one global leader, but on his trip to China he is starting to confront the fact that we may be witnessing the decline of the American empire. China is now one of the United states biggest competitors and they are on track to economically pass the United states. Trump fears that China is starting to disrupt the economical flow on a global scale. Trump has a tax plan in attempts to help the economy, despite much criticism from liberal supporters. His plan, which is backed by many of his supporters, is to attempt to lower corporate tax rate from 35% to 20%. Liberal news sources such as CNN criticize this view very heavily, and sound uninformed to a very good plan. Trumps view is that of many republicans, the more money corporations and companies have, the more they will invest in smaller start-up businesses, this allows newer businesses to come to light, giving more jobs, and making more money, which can then be invested again. Many republicans have been attempting to get rid of Obamacare, but recently two states voted to increase medicaid. Republicans are against the idea of increasing medicaid though, because the funding would have to come from taxpayers. Unfortunately money doesn't just fall from the sky, and the voters do not realize that increasing medicaid will only take more money away from everyone, that could be used for other more important things. Many people like to point fingers at Trump for being a racist and supporting white supremacy, even though he has never fully stated that, in fact Trump has many black friends and is not very racist, and is just mostly against people based on facts. A woman describes dealing with trumps unapparent racism as hard, and remains hopeful for him to change. The black woman also brings up slavery, disregarding the fact the white men fought to abolish slavery, and we live in a completely different culture now. Unfortunately the slavery argument does not bring pity as it once did, and the woman ended up sounding ignorant stating that Trump follows "white only" antics. Completely irrelevant to the article, left winged news source CNN also mentioned the fact that Trump forgot the name of a soldier who died during a condolence call. This is one of few CNN articles that are unbiased, and logical. This article talks about the current divide between opinions in the president, and how people are either enemies or friends based on their political beliefs. The article states that there should be change, and that the president was rightfully elected. To sum everything up, basically the article states to get over it and stop judging people based on political beliefs. This article briefly explains how people are becoming less confident it Trump because he hasn't held true on his promises. Most presidents make promises and lie, but obviously because Trump is in a spotlight, many people find this unpleasing. The article touches base on the fact that Trump has in fact improved our economy though, which reassures many people. His approval rating is down to 38% for how he is doing his job, but again, many people participating in this poll didn't like Trump from the start, so the poll is not 100% accurate. This is a very short article talking about a woman who was fired for flipping off trump. Her employer stated that is violated her social media contract, because the photo of her flipping Trump off went viral. She said she was just expressing her political beliefs but still ended up unemployed. CNN thinks this sets a frightening precedent that if you express your political beliefs you may get fired. Trump talked about a lot in his speech in NK. This article briefly describes the most important things he talked about. Trump told SK that they need to gain more success to discredit NK in their attempts to reign over SK. He also talks about how America is not afraid of NK and we will not back down from any fights. He also makes claims that NK is not safe with the weapons they have because now the whole world is against them. Trump goes on to question whether China would even stand up for NK at this point with how they have been handling themselves. As a follow up to the meeting with the Chinese president, it is shown that Trump and the Chinese president are now friends. This article brings up the irony based on remarks Trump has made about China in the past. They talk about how he said America can't continue to let China rape our country. Overall it was the best decision though, by becoming friends with China we are making America stronger as well. Kevin Brady suggested that there will be major tax cuts for everyone in America. Brady believes this will help the economy once wages go up, and the economy would start to raise again. This involves repealing Obamacare, which is criticized by many, but will be better off for America in the long run. Trump is suggesting the death penalty for a man who plowed a crowd over with his truck. Trump calls it a terrorist act and believes the man is getting what he deserves. They don't believe that climate change is directly related to humans, and whether the greenhouse gasses in the air with negative are actually man made. They think it has a minute affect on the climate compared to other things that naturally occur. They have not fully read past reports but question how much climate change actually has to do with human consumption. They also state that they are not sure what impact mankind even has to climate change, if any.
