Rob and Rakesh had explained the task in hand and have now left us to our own devices to choose how to assemble and delegate roles. i nominated myself as the group supervisor. at first we choose the approach to do one car at a time until we had the correct production method. however, due to the tight time scale we only had 1 hour to produce 3 cars. after we realised the time shortage i then explained to my group that it would be more effective and time efficient if we would build 1 car between 2. however there were implications with that method.

in todays session it was the final week of the XMB side car project. we had to use all of the skills and knowledge that we had gained via the past 4 weeks of planning. firstly, we had half an hour to prepare our workstations, delegate roles and lastly we also prepared all of our parts for when the assembly process starts. after our preparation was done we had five minutes to spare and we took this time to review what our tasks and roles are during this process. by the end of the session we had managed to make 3 XMB side cars. unfortunately none of them were faultless but we have gained valuable lessons and knowledge from this specific module.
