It is a great time to be a Bulldog! This year our Technology classroom will be a Flipped Classroom. 

The flipped learning model turns the traditional classroom model around.  In a traditional classroom, students learn content in school, and they practice this content at home, typically with worksheets.  In our flipped classroom, students are introduced to concepts on videos that I create, and they develop their understanding and practice the concept at school in class.

While Traditional Flipped Learning usually occurs at home on video, our Flipped will occur in groups at school.  In class, your students will watch the videos that I create in one group, then they will rotate through other learning activities which extend learning and give students more time for projects and labs. 

The wonderful thing about this change, is that the videos are always available for you and your students to reference. You are encouraged to watch the videos at home with your child

As a district, we have many new technology tools that have now been fully deployed. We are using these devices to their fullest extent so that learning occurs deeply and in a method which is current and relevant to today’s life.
