It is filled with endless hills of green grass, forests that stretch on for miles, and clear bottomless lakes. Despite the beauties of the court, there is a curse on the people of the court including the High Lord. All of the citizens bare masks on their faces. It has been that way for 49 years and the only person who has a chance of lifting the curse is Feyre.

Tamlin is the High Lord of Spring Court, meaning he has specific powers that High Fae's do not. His power is shape shifting into a beast or into other appearances. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
Lucien is Tamlin's best friend and emissary. He is a High Fae, he doesn't have special powers like Tamlin and he is not as powerful. But do not underestimate him. Lucien was trained to be a warrior at a young age and still lives up to that name. Feyre has always thought about others needs over her own. While she was living a luxurious life in the Spring Court, her family had been left in the dead of winter to fend off for themselves. Feyre was their provider, she hunted, prepared, and was the only one not spending money SHE made on useless things. The only thing she wanted most was paint and have the time to paint without being interrupted by the constant bickering between Nesta and her father.

This quote occurred twice in the book, both times were before a death occurred. Feyre was present during both of those times, she would not leave anyone or anything to die alone. That was also her final wish to herself and anyone who would listen.
