From Tenerife, where they attended a Structured Course on "Innovative teaching methods for teachers, school and adult education staff", together with teachers from Poland and Romania, Mrs Ester Vitale and Grazia Vinci, teachers of Food Science and English, and Erasmus Programme Coordinator and French teacher, Teresa Casa, have just returned. The discussion on the topic of Project Based Learning and the benefits of non-formal and outdoor learning was very stimulating and the visits to the area and the discovery of places of natural, cultural and tourist interest that the three teachers had the opportunity to make were also interesting. In addition, the foundations were laid for the start of new collaborations, which will certainly be useful for the creation of the European Learning Area that the European Commission hopes can be achieved by 2025.  Within the same project, another four teachers have just left and this time the destination is Portugal, where at the Instituto de Nossa Senhora de Fátima in Milfontes, they will carry out a Job Shadowing activity which will allow them to observe the teaching, theoretical and practical activities of their counterparts. But we will tell you more about their experience when they come back and in the meantime, remembering that "Erasmus changes lives and opens minds", we invite you to keep up to date with everything we will do during the year on our institute's website and also on social networks.
