I chose to leave late last night at around 8 so I could arrive there early in the morning. I thought the first two days would be spent urban hiking. For the majority of the day, I walked around the Plaza de Armas, where I picked up my boleto turístico, or touring tickets to see most of what Peru had to offer. To end the day, I ate at Jack's Café Bar and had a good burger with fries. After lunch, I saw the stunning Temple of the Sun to get an idea of the Incan and Spanish culture. Then, I got to see even more Incan Stone work. In Plaza Nazarenas, I saw the Museo de Arte Precolombino (MAP) and some of the upscale alpaca goods shops on the square. Then I stopped to eat lunch at MAP Café, a chic restaurant in the museum's courtyard, and had alpaca, and for dinner, I went to Chi Cha, a star chef's take on Cusqueña cuisine, where I had a stirfry. I took a taxi and headed over there. ¡Muy Magnifica! didn't know it yet, but it braced me for what I was bound to see while in Peru. Machu Picchu but that's on day 5. I ate lunch at Ulrike's Café and had a pizza, which had an interesting flavor to say the least. Excellente. This also prepared me for Machu Picchu. I grabbed lunch at Café Mayu by the train station and take a walk around Ollanta's Old Town. I transferred to a hotel in Ollanta so it would be easier to get to Machu Picchu.

I caught a bus early in the morning to go see the wonders that were Machu Picchu. Fue incredíble. I hiked up to the Huayna Picchu peak for panoramic views and had lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge next to the ruins and stayed until late in the afternoon. I ate at the same restaurants but ordered some breakfast at Jack's for lunch and for dinner at Jack's, I had some chicken. I had a little bit of fun with urban life, checked into my hotel and prepared for tomorrow.
