3.Ernie is changing fast throughout the story when meeting Dolores.In the story Ernie started taking hours in the garden giving flowers to Dolorie and spending Lots of time participating in gardening. 4. One thing I would change about Ernie is that in the story one day he would talk to Dolorie, with that I feel like the effect would be that Dolorie would talk to him.In it she seems like she’s interested in the flowers and changing her style.

1. Jack- Jack was friends with Ernie, Jack made a garden full of tomatoes and Ernie would watch Jack go through and work in the garden.
Ernie- he lived with his mother in a small dark houseon the edge of town. He had shiny black hair with large blue eyes and a round, wise face. He was always having to live with his mom.
Dolores- Dolores was the only women with a tattoo. She wasn’t always girly. She liked to fix cars and she would always buy batteries. She wants someone to love her.

1. Dolores was the assistant manager at Stan’s and worked for 20 years. Ernie had large blue eyes, black hair, and a round wise face. Jack was a boy that Ernie would watch looking out of her window. 2. Ernie and Jack could be alike in a way. They both became friends and Ernie watches him do things.

Dolores was the assistant manager at Stan's, had worked there for 20 years. She know the store as the back of her hand.

1. Jack is a man who worked at the group home and grew a large garden. Ernie is a a man who gave the flowers to Dolores and lived with his mom and never saw out of his house. Dolores is a women that had a tattoo and didn’t care much about her appearance and didn’t want love
2. Ernie and Dolores are different characters that don’t know each other very well but live in the same town

Ernie lived in the town all of his life and never meet Dolores. He is 33 years old, and he lived with his mom 31 of those years.

I can infer that Ernie is changing through out the story. I know this because In the beginning of the story it took him a long time to understand things , and when his mom died and he moved to a group home he started to know alot more things about the world and know about feelings.
