All of the content/information from the documentation that has been provided is concise and thorough; almost all of the questions that we wanted to ask have already been answered in the video; thus, there was no information that was misleading or created a cliffhanger because they covered almost all of the topics that they presented.We can conclude from our answers above that all three sorts of conventions are presented well. We expected the documentation of that issue to take a long time, but within a short period of time of creating the report it’s a high-quality film with all of the elements required for conventions present and well utilized, making it both useful and well-made. There are some buzzwords used in the documentary like electric cars, low mission transport and carbon emission that helps us to understand what is being emphasized in the video. They also make us think of how and when we are going to switch into clean energy. One catchphrase that comes to mind is that both use “ the lowest carbon emission vehicle we have” saying that biking is still the cleanest way of transport other than walking or jogging.

TYPOGRAHPY

The text used in the video was placed accordingly. The font and color are just right for the viewer to read. The information stated and used in the video were useful especially for those who have a disability.

DESIGN AND LAYOUT

The design was pretty normal, can be seen on some other montages or other videos but still pretty cool and for the thumbnail is laid out by getting the best part of the movie which is pretty normal instead of drawing or creating a thumbnail. In addition the design was good, they use minimalist design because it shows the more natural beauty of the city. The layout was clear and easy to follow and makes watching it more informative and entertaining.

There are many types of camera angles used in the documentary. When the host is speaking, to the camera or to someone. They mostly use Handheld, Medium and POV ( when the lost is in the car) shots so that we can get a closer look of what they are doing. When traveling along the car, we get to see the different angles of the car using Cut away shot, worm shot (using Go pros placed around the car), Establishing shots and dolly shots are also used to see the environment around the car. When showing data on the screen or inside the car, they use extreme close up shots so that we can clearly see the information like distance and range of the car. When showcasing the actual cars used in the documentary like the Hyundai Kona electric, a hydrogen car and public vehicles, they use panning shots, tilt shots and close up shots to show the capabilities and design of low emission cars in Singapore.

EDITING

What we can say on editing is clean, the pop up words like the prize and name of the electric car is smooth and clean, and circle with pointers at the that has on some of the cars throughout the video is pretty normal and the editing of some pictures like the earth was clean and adding some effects like the dome to show the elements.

AUDIO

Their pronunciation and the volume of their voice is very clear and understandable. The down side is sometimes they are using jargon which is unfamiliar to some viewers who are unfamiliar to car industries

LIGHTING

 The director may be used some proper lighting on some scenes and it is a montage after all, and through out the video I see is the normal lighting or real life lighting

The video was shot in Singapore during the dry season, as the weather is sunny and the scene consists largely of cars and highways. The settings display an electric vehicle rather of the conventional gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. The things that were displayed in the opening portion of the introduction, such as the car and environment, indicate that the main focus of the material is about automobile innovation in Singapore.

MISE EN SCENE 

The materials in the video’s frame are shown as appropriate props for use in a scene relating to the video’s main point of discussion. As the content is about cars, it depicts several types of vehicles, addressing the differences between electric vehicles and those powered by gasoline or diesel. The props aid in the proper illustration of the subject so that the audience can understand what is being addressed

ACTION 

Firstly, at the start of the documentary about “switching to electric cars” the main character was CURIOUS about it and also had many questions to ask educated people about electric cars he also compared it with normal petrol cars. Then with the knowledge he got he was SHOCKED about that even though an electric car is more expensive than a petrol car but still it saves you money for a long time not compared to petrol car that you need to refill your tanks around every week also its not eco friendly. As he knows that not totally electric cars are not eco friendly because we still produce carbon dioxide when we charge the car, he got DISAPPOINTED. Lastly, he was AMAZED by what the future will be in 10-20 years from now. 

COLOR

The dominant colors in the film were Orange and green. Orange is a dominant color in the film because the title of the show’s talking point is orange. Color black represents the color of the majority of the cars that he tried in the video.  Also there are 2 color symbols in the film which are green and white. Green represents the clean energy and electric cars which are eco-friendly. White represents petrol cars that produce harmful gases like carbon dioxide.
