The point of a fable is debatable. Could they be to teach a lesson, a moral so to speak? A way to imprint a lesson into young minds in a way that is easiest. A way to also teach children about how different people interact, and how some are not as kind as others. Fables might even be the reason why we associate certain aspects of the human mind with being evil and such. JK Rowling's Harry Potter depicts cunning and ambition as evil traits, that Slytherin is evil because they are cunning and ambitious, that they can only produce people like Voldemort, who are evil.

The point of a Fable is to teach people about lessons/morals. Fables are usually used to teach kids about important events/lessons by usually using animals as characters but with human characteristics. An example of a fable is "The Tortoise and the Hare".

The point of a fable is not only for entertainment, but it has a moral or a lesson to learn. It's usually a very simple, but helpful lesson for people to learn. Fables are fiction and they're meant for kids. They usually include animals and the animals learn a lesson at the end of the fable. It's also just fun for kids to learn a story, but at the same time they learns something from it.
