I'm an English and Maths teacher in high school (14-18ages).I live in Afyon,TURKEY. I'm very happy to be here with the army of education. I have just started to improve myself properly for ICT and computing in education.

MOD 1.1 - What is Computing---What is the situation of computing teaching in your country? Briefly explain in the padlet below what parts of computing are already taught in your school. Do students learn how to use software? Do they already write code? Do they work with robots? Do they explore topics such as esafety? Identify anything that you do in your school that you think might link to computing.

The Ministery of Education has a cirriculum plan for each kind of schools and for at least 5 years It has been following this plan for students and teachers to improve computing skills at schools.Also It organise educations for teacher trainers and teachers.But in my school there is no computer teacher or lesson to teach computering or coding.That's why I'm here.

MOD 1.2 - How to get students engaged in the topics----After watching the videos, think about how you could explain to your students the importance of computing. A good strategy will be to highlight to students how an understanding of computers will help them understand how the world around them works. If you have been teaching computing-related topics before, share with us how you introduce students to the topic, how do you get them engaged? If you haven't taught computing-related topics before, think about how you could capture and hold the attention of your students for the topics you plan to teach. Share your thoughts and ideas here.

This year I have started to use computing method in my lesson with web tools.I have created a website to show my works about EU projects,my subjects workshops.

I am trying to explain the importances of using digital tools for education ,industry and the other areas.My students upload their performance works on my website so they learn using web tools by preparing their homework.

Also I prepare school project for my students to improve their language and computing skills.This makes them excited.

MOD 2.2 - Developing Collaboration in Computing ------What other methods have you used or could use to develop collaboration when working on computing related topics? How can we illustrate our students the importance of good communication when programming computers? Share any ideas here.

I organize my team by making groups that include 2 or 3 members each and also open whatsapp for each groups to communicate easily then regularly get them to meet at school.In first jobs are everytime hard but later they learn how they do their jobs so it gets easy
