It is set in Cork, Ireland in the early 2000s and it is based around high schoolers. These two characters meet and their lives become entwined together. They learn secrets about each other and form a relationship stronger than any other that they have ever known.

This is my favorite book because it shows how teenagers have other things going on home on top of all of the things they have to deal with school. It highlights a lot of different issues such as bullying and it also shows that you can find a friend in someone even when you least expect it.
