Ethics is the branch of the social science, which deal with concepts such as right and wrong, good and bad, fair and unfair, just and unjust, legal and illegal, moral and immoral, proper and improper in respect of human actions. It is a science of morality which guides the actions of individuals or groups.Second, since research often involves a great deal of cooperation and coordination among many 
    different people in different disciplines and institutions, ethical standards promote the values that are essential to collaborative work.

    2.Utilitarianism defined is an ethical theory that defines right and wrong by the outcome or consequence, it is the belief that an action can be justified if it does the most good for the most people. Utilitarianism is a theory of morality that advocates actions that foster happiness or pleasure and oppose actions that cause unhappiness or harm. For example, in the Tram problem, the Utilitarianist will try to save five people's life and sacrifice another person who is on another track.
    . Deonthology popularly associated with emmanuel kant, determining ethics from rules of society. RULES DETERMINE WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG.  the study of the nature of duty and obligation. In this theory rule is the supreme.For example someone who kill the suspect but still should be punished by law beacuse of breach of law.

Ethics is defined as the values and morals upheld during interaction with others during the collection of data and the dissemination of findings and refer a wide variety of values, norms, and institutional arrangements that help constitute and regulate scientific activities.

    2.Utilitarianism is a theory of morality that advocates actions that foster happiness or pleasure and oppose actions that cause unhappiness or harm. When directed toward making social, economic, or political decisions, a utilitarian philosophy would aim for the betterment of society as a whole.Utilitarianism would say that an action is right if it results in the happiness of the greatest number of people in a society or a group.
    example of Utilitarianism: 
    1)We all know that business class passengers pay a premium price to get all the luxuries of that class that the airline offers. the difference between the price of an economy class ticket and a business class ticket is not just do the extra amenities that are being offered to the business class travelers, traveling for the same amount of time as the economy class, premium price charged from the business class travelers – the ones who can easily afford it – are actually used to ease out the burden of deficit that the airline would have to bear if it is to allow the economy class passengers the opportunity for air travel at a lower price
    2)one of the deceased donated healthy organs to help other patients.

    Deontology is the branch of ethics  in which people define what is morally right or wrong by the actions themselves, rather than referring to the consequences of those actions, or the character of the person who performs them. 
    example of Deontology: 
    1)Do Not Kill. We all see killing or murdering as the wrongest human deed because we are taught since our childhood that killing anybody including an animal in a wrong act. ... Do Not Steal. ...Religious beliefs ..
    2)Businesses uphold the ethical standard of respect within the workplace. People are meant to treat each other with respect regardless of age, race, nationality, or religion. For example, companies keep personal data about their employees or customers such as age, bank account details or social security numbers and are expected to keep this information private out of respect for these individual’s privacy.


    3. As in any research, the researcher should take responsibility for ensuring that guidelines and regulations are followed.  Where there is an extensive analysis of participants’ behavior and interaction over a period of time, the well-being, confidentiality, privacy and safety of individual participants must take precedence at all times.

    • Ethics is mainly concerned with the moral norms and behavioral standards of people in social groups, so the study of social sciences, especially social behavior, is inevitably related to ethics.

    Utilitarianism is an ethical theory that deterimines right from wrong by focusing on outcomes. It holds the most ethical choice that will produce the greatest good for the greatest number.
    In deontology ethics, an action is considered morally good because of some characteristic of the action itself, not because the product of the action is good. They believe what makes a choice right is the conformity of a moral norm.

    3.   It provides the purpose of research, such as knowledge, truth, and avoidance of error. It activates public support for research if the researchers show the reliability of the research. It also help researchers to give an explanation to the public.

Ethics in the society is considered to be commons sense. These ethics are developed during childhood where they were thought in families, schools, church, etc.
    2.utilitarianism is an ethical theory that determines the right from wrong by focusing on the outcomes. For example: In the Avengers End Game movie, Thanos decided to kill half of the universe population in order to create a better world. 
    His values to help the world is there but because of different ethics, his method is known to be wrong.

    Deontology using rules to distinguish right or wrong.  Using the universal laws such as not cheating, no lying, no killing, etc. They are more likely to follow the rules than to follow their own values. 

    For example: Hunting is not allowed in some area, if they break the rules, they will be sent to jail forever. However, someone broke the rule and was caught. He did this for survival because has no food, but because of the law, he was not pitied and was sent to jail for his wrong doing

    3 Ethics is important in social science research because it is to protect the authors work from being stolen. It is also prevents scientist to give misleading information and misinterpreting the truth
