I've been married for 33 years and have a 17 year old daughter.  Prior to becoming a mom, I was an accountant but knew that when Hannah joined our family, I wanted to be a full time Mom.  Well, flash forward 16 years and Hannah's about to enter her Junior year in High School.  I had an "uh oh" moment and asked myself "what am I going to do with my time once Hannah goes away to college?"  

Having been involved with all of Hannah's schools (PTO boards, volunteering, etc), I knew I wanted to stay active in that area.  With my work experience and MBA, I was able to qualify for a teaching credential the CTE route.  Now, I run the lab portion for the marketing classes at Pinnacle High School.  And, I've found my calling.  The past 1 1/2 years have been amazing - working daily with the students has energized me!  I love going in to school every day. 

While I am fully credentialed, I realized that I still need the background knowledge that makes teachers effective.  As a result, I searched out local programs that would accommodate my work schedule and found Rio Salado.  The rest, as they say, is history!
