Today once again we confirm that music gather us, connect us beyond barriers... We also learned how to play some Gwo ka rhythms, it's background, history and culture... It was amazing!

Another great sharing day 🌞
Lino tolds me that we comemorate the Musician Day and what the best way to do it: to listen Rita playing Kanklas (typical instrument of Lithuania) so much melodical and participate with the ♥️ all as one in a Gwo Ka session. How much stories behind the Gwo Ka were today memorie and presence, flowing in the diferents rhythms that pumped ours hearts.

I've learned today giving heart to my voice, carabeean rhythm to my hands on an ensemble Gwo Ka session. Each instrument played today carries an heritage, a story, a life. It was very special this day. Always with the background sound of the sea waves...

Today I've learned so much...
I felt all the moments in my body.
There is so much in music that can empower the learning of a person.
But for the posterity it remains my happy full translation from Crioule/French to my Portuguese colleagues in the Gwo Ka session with Edgar our master teacher on it.
To feel part of a whole transport us to another space and time of ours lifes.
In the final it was the smile of mine colleagues that satisfying me.

It was an exciting borned day . Knowing by Rita the strong story behind the kankla instrument touched the fibers of my heart. So much communication on the strings...
Another great moment was the Gwo Ka session. In addition to its history, I enjoyed knowing and playing three of the Seven Rhythms that are at the heart of this traditional music art of Guadeloupe. It was without a doubt a fantastic experience and nothing better than on a musical day, being surrounded by good musicians and playing together.

Today was an emotional day, full of joy and sharing. I felt that we were all connected through music, as one. It was wonderful and touching!
The happiness of having done something for the first time filled my heart with gratitude.
When i player the Gwo ka, and when i sing, I felt a deep connection to this place and this persons, almost as if I was coming home.
It was magical, an unforgettable experience that will stay with me forever.

Today it was special blessed by the music. I was surprised by a magical instrument- kanklas  - do a meditative sound with the particularity of to keep in it the bonds with the ancesters that have passed away. Have contact with Gwo Ka traditional music of Guadaloupe and play the drums made my heart pulse of emotion. I’m gratefull  for this quite unique and rich experience.

Today was full of Caribbean sounds and rhythms. Firstly, we reflect on the five dimensions and possible approaches to the theme of multiculturalism, discovering that only an approach with multiple perspectives can enhance a deep understanding of this phenomenon. Music is also a manifestation of multiculturalism. So today we were able to witness live the various cultural influences of Guadaloupe's music, singing and playing the musical rhythms on the Gwo ka drum, used in the folklore in Guadaloupe. It was an unforgettable experience, playing and singing the songs and rhythms of the island, sharing this cultural manifestation with friends.
