Step 10: Citations

As part of edio lesson 4.4.7 and live class 4.5.1, we used our different sources to work on our citations.

In 4.4.7, we talked about signal phrases. Signal phrases are a way to introduce a piece of information that you pulled from your sources. Every piece of information you are using as evidence needs a signal phrase and to be put in quotation marks!

In 4.5.1, we worked on our in-text citations and works cited page. In-text citations are when we put the author's last name (or the article title if there is not author listed) at the end of our piece of evidence. A works cited page is where we list the MLA formatted citation for each of our sources.
