This also caused the need for more territory which led to fighting. This time period was survival of the fittest. That is why I am for imperialism. I believe that if you have too much land and your colony is puny and weak then someone that has the opportunity to make a profit should be able to take it over.
     Otherwise many things would not have been manufactured due to no space. We needed imperialism for everyone.
