1) How I changed the camera to be shutter priority
I moved the main dial to S which makes shutter speed the main priority in the camera when it is taking a photo

2) What happens to the photograph when the shutter speed changes according to what I saw.
When the shutter speed is slow like around 1/3 of a second, the photo is blurred, and there is a ghostly image around the moving objects in the photo. When the image is in the middle speed like around 1/60 of a second, the photo is a little darker, but you can see more details in the photo, and there is less of a blur in the photo. When the you have a fast shutter speed, like around 1/750 of a second, there is no blur, and you can see the details of the photos very well, but the photo is really dark compared to the other photos.

3) Why I would want to use shutter speed as a priority. What situation would I use it.
Shutter speed is good as a priority because it can help freeze or motion blur a photo depending on what shutter speed you use. So if you wanted something to be blurred, you would make it a slow shutter speed like around 1/3 of a second. But if you want to freeze a moving object, you would make it a faster shutter speed like around 1/750 of a second.

Formula 1 racing. Choosing a shutter speed of 1/1000s will give you sharp images. Turn the mode dial to TV or S (Shutter Priority) mode and set the shutter speed to between 1/500th-1/1000th of a second. Then pre-focus your lens on the area where you think the car will arrive or turn corners; or follow one to try and capture the image centrally.

When I use the slower shutter speeds I often set the timer on the camera or use my shutter release cable to eliminate any camera shake when pressing the shutter button. But using the shutter release cable, you may want to go to a manual focus to prevent the camera from refocusing and causing your image to be out of focus. Tripod: this eliminates camera shake from slower shutter speeds, but it also helps achieve shots that include the blurring light motion of passing cars. You can really get some neat shots at a 4 second shutter speed.
