         <description><![CDATA[<div>Well 3rd Grade.  Here we go.  Below is a list of ideas you can do to practice measurement.<br>1.  Keep a journal. Write the times down that you start or finish an activity during the day.  Figure out the elapsed time (time passed) for each activity.<br>2. Grab 3 different size containers - cups, glasses, bowls.  Fill the smallest container with water.  Then  predict where the water level will be in each of the other containers when you pour that water in them.<br>3. Grab 2 different items.  Hold one on each hand.  Which has more mass?  <br>4. Have pennies or paper clips at home? Each one is about 1 gram.  How many paper clips or pennies does it take to equal the mass of the items you picked in number 3?  5. Use a ruler or tape measure and  use it to measure the height or length of an item or person in your house?  Don't have a ruler? Print the one below. ☺ </div>]]></description>
