It should be something that makes your life better in some way. Write an ode to honor your object. USE ONE EXAMPLE OF PERSONIFICATION in your ode. Take it seriously: even seemingly boring items (like a toothbrush) can be deserving of respect and wonder (imagine how much harder it would be to keep your teeth clean without it!) Focus on how the object is useful, or why it is sentimental, and how it makes your life better. "Like" at least two of your peers' posts after reading them. Please do not die on me, not without a replacement

The woman that has been with me over the years
She has overcame many obstacles in her past to give me everything
I call her “mama” because she was the only one to encourage me to keep going
She thinks beyond for her children and the goals she has for them

The only person in the world that has always made me feel like home
The word “mom” doesn't come in the most simplest terms for someone
She out stands everyone that has impacted me in my life
I can be myself when I’m around her and share my dreams with her

I’m proud to call her my mom because we have suffered a lot to live the life we have
Having her by my side is the one thing that has held me together 
The presence of her is like looking at the moon resting on the midnight sky.

When I see you on my bed you look so comfortable
I would like to lay down and fall asleep.

Your fluffed up with a new pillowcase on
And fit perfectly on my bed.

You may seem useless,
But to me your very valuable
If you weren't here I don't know if I could sleep right
You are what keeps me refreshed in the morning.

At nighttime you are all I need
You are with me when I need an after school nap,
When I feel sick and want to feel better.

Or after a long day at work and just want relax.
When I lay my head on you it sounds like your singing me a song to go to sleep.

Your the most important thing there is,
You also put the finishing touches in my room.

Those are the reasons your important to me
