The environment that someone or something inhabits becomes an important and almost (sometimes it is) sacred part of life. This is why there has been a long history of activism to protect the natural environment in the United States of America. Another massive, and almost intrusive part of life in the US is the daily interaction with billion dollar corporations. These two parts of everyday life have become intertwined because there is almost a mutual hate for each other, there is a seemingly reasonable answer as to why they have a distaste for each other, but what is more important is find how they can work together to create the best world possible.

Land usage, both how we put ourselves onto the land as well as how we infect the lands, has been the largest topic within the environmental movement for decades. With both corporations seemingly destroying and preserving the environment that they take from, the entity that is corporate America has without a doubt shaped the natural landscape of the United States. The glaring problem that this has shown is the fact that his is polarizing, it becomes the argument of what is the best coarse of action to take care of the important things in the world, what sacrifices have to be made. The fact that this topic has become so polarizing is honestly part of the problem. There needs to be the understanding that the battle between corporate America and the protection of the environment does not have to go in one way or the other, neither side of this fight will never be able to win, coexisting is the only possible way that both the environment and corporation can survive.
