At the end of the village, on the edge of the forest, lies the Golondrina cottage. A peaceful place where you wake up to the sound of birds and where silence still exists.

Those who love walking, tranquillity, observing animals or simply enjoying the landscape will find this a dream location. Dogs are welcome. Bon vivants will also find what they are looking for here, with several places in the area where you can enjoy delicious food and discover the cuisine of Aragón.

In the valley, you can swim or kayak, and the region is full of old Romanesque churches and small mountain villages. For yoga and meditation, there is a Buddhist centre nearby.

There are no shops in the village itself, but the nearest towns are about half an hour's drive away.

In winter, there are several ski resorts a short distance away. Afterwards, it's wonderful to come home and warm up by the fire.

Golondrina is a place to slow down, breathe and truly unwind.

The space
Casa Golondrina is a cosy studio on the ground floor with a living area, small kitchen and dining area. A sliding door leads to the sleeping area.

There is also a separate bathroom with shower and toilet.

The studio is ideal for two people, but can easily accommodate four.

There is heating with a wood-burning stove, and wood is provided. Especially on chilly days, it is wonderful to light the fire and sit together inside.

From the dining area, you can access the terrace with a table along the path, a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Only during the village festival of San Lorenzo - around 10 August there is lots of music the clock round and this for for 3 days. The fiesta's are worth a visit, but please note that quite nights in these 3 days are not an option.

You can fly to Barcelona or Zaragoza. You can hire a car at both airports. From there, it is about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Troncedo.

You can also travel by train or long-distance bus to Barcelona or Zaragoza and hire a car there.

For those travelling without a car, there are also buses to the region and you can use BlaBlaCar.

There is no shop in the village so stop at a shop to buy food and drinks before you arrive. The nearest supermarket is in Tierrantona (20 min) or Graus (25 min).
There is an open-air swimming pool in Tierrantona (20 min drive) and you can also swim in the lake of El Grado (direction Graus, 20 min drive).
