A message or a moral I can take away from this film is that even though you

 or a friend you are really close to moves away,

 you can still be friends by writing to each other and meeting up.

I think this movie was inspiring to others and made everyone think

 about how they can keep in contact with friends or family without giving up

 because the movie showed a lot of emotion throughout the film. The guy

moved away and left a hole in each heart :( < 3 Time came to the point where

it reached the point where they needed to see each other again! Even though

the boy was 4 hours late, the girl waited and waited there just to see him again.

I think that shows how much she feels for him. If it were me I'd probably get fed

up of waiting :P but this girl feels something special for him but only realised that

half way through the movie.

gradually understood it , I also thought the graphics were good.

AMRIT: I agree with Samiyah at the beginning I didn't understand, towards the end

I started to understand better

and as soon as you start to understand

it becomes sad, depressing or happy.

 that there are other people out in the world.  There are 7 billion people living in the world. it's just like saying, there

 are plenty of fish in the sea. The feeling of moving away from someone you love is very disheartening and that is how

Takaki must've felt.

So the moral of the film, is that there are

loads of more people out there. In the film, there was a girl who liked Takaki but he didn't like her back because

 he still liked the other girl who seemed to move on with life.

facial expression that are drawn in little detail in a simple formation but

so that it is still readable.

At the beginning when they are both together and playing in the

blossom you feel quite happy and calm while watching. once

the girl moves away you feel quite disappointed as the two were 

definitely very close and the story would be good with both of them.

when they start to write letters to each other you feel quite touched.

later on when he cant get to her on time you feel a bit hopeless

 and I think the main character does too. however the saddest I felt in

the movie was when they never got back together in the end and I was very

disappointed and unsatisfied at the end of the movie.

because everytime the girl met with the

boy she would say "the blossom is falling at 5cm per

second" or "the snow is falling 5cm per second

emotion's......

and not by their voices because throught the whole film

their voices

 expressions and also, by the sound effects such as when a anime was crying then you would see a

different mood on there faces and you could hear a crying effect.

and the movements all add up to a recognisable feelings 

that we can understand 

the crying as most of us were laughing while the characters were crying cause it sounded really fake.

This made us feel let down because we

This made us feel let down because we were exited for the end but

nothing really answered our questions and nothing accrued... and left us on a cliff hanger.

the movie to get any emotions I didn't understand it because there were loads of different girls

and I didn't know which girl was which and I was just confused.

the girl that the boy loved got married to someone else

the boy became depressed and fed up with his job and

the girl in the second part wanted to tell the boy how she felt but couldn't  she felt regected and lonely even though she had her parents and her sister.

snow storm which held up his train and caused delays.

You could see the emotions of the characters when they got

embarrassed, depressed, excited etc. the colours and the

scene settings were very exciting and detailed.

but it was a little confusing it didn't really work as a really useful message beacuase it didn't end well

I liked the film because it was well scripted, well directed, had great animations and colourful backgrounds that are very interesting, however I did not like the story line and I hated the ending because they could of carried it on for a bit longer and then it would be a bit better, like if it showed them meeting for the last time then it would have been alright.Xx

on the 2nd/3rd chapter I felt sorry for the

girl who loved the boy but he didn't like her back

and the boy also because she got engaged while

he never stopped loving her while she is loving

some one else and getting married also the kiss they shared meant a lot to him but it didn't mean a lot to her and that confuses me more!

that they cant forget about eachother

that there are many people around the world lotss of options and chances and not to give up no matter what happens. The story is a classic love story were they fight and spend long hours trying to get to her/ him.

ALSO THE FILM WAS AMAZINGHOW TYHEY EXPRESSED ALL EMOTIONS IN LETTERS AND TEXT FROM THERE HEART AND MADE ME FEEL SORRY FOR THEM AS THRY COULD NOT BE TOGETHOR BUT OVER ALL IT WAS A GOOD MOVIE

 I understood that they were in love but I didn't get the train bit that dragged on to long

also the bit where can I was in it... hi katy reeve from alicia

and it was a  good film to wach it is a good anime we go to the sinimar andsee the filmsand they make me cry at the end!!!!! lol

come closer while being apart . also if you are away from each other physically doesn't

mean you are not close mentally and emotionally .

near the end I got really confused. I didn't get it because

there where too many people and I didn't know who was who

so then it got boring. I think they should have done it where

there were only 2 main characters so that people

 who are watching it will get it

because at first it shows there childhood and about the blossom tree it felt like warm feeling because

its showing how everything at the beginning was so calm and that there playing together. But as soon as

Akari left I felt so upset for Takaki but at the same time I kinda knew it was gonna happen because of how the

story was going so far. When Akari and Takaki started to write each other letters I felt so touched because it just shows 

how they can't let go of each other and that there friendship is very STRONG cause no matter what happens or how distance

they are but the most upsetting part of the movie was that at the ending because in my mind I was thinking that they were

going to be moving a lot and that they would be getting closer which I was right but at the end there were like an inch close

of meeting each other again because they were about to turn around but the train just decided to BLOCK there VIEW and 

Akari wasn't there :( but overall I think it was a good message in the film to our human life. 

very effective as at the beginning

the girl states the fact that snowflakes

fall at 5cm per seconds. later on in the film

that statement relates to many parts of the

story. it is a symbol of their friendship and love.

on their first kiss it was snowing which reminded

him of her and he realised that he loves her. coming

to the end when he should have forgotten about her

as he has a new life and a new job he finds the cherry

blossom petal which looked like snow which distracted

him from his work and he got something from it

because half the pictures dident relate tp the film

and were not in the 3 clips.

still keep in touch with whoever

frined moves far away it

doesn't stop you for still keeping in touch or now and then call or write a letter :) x
