Name: Distant
Date completed: 12/12/16
Reflection:
Overall, I am very pleased with how this project turned out. It was a fairly quick project and I really enjoyed using a new technique with a self portrait. If I could go back and change something it would probably be the background, because looking at it now it does't compliment the portrait as well as maybe a solid background. Finally, for this project I used water color for the background and pen for the portrait

Name: focused
Date completed: 10/14/16
Reflection:
Looking back on this project I really enjoyed working with plants but I wish I would have incorporated different types of plants instead of just sunflowers. I also would have made the main sunflower a little larger because I feel like the focus drifts from the main flower to the background which is not what I wanted. Lastly, I used prismacolor colored pencils with black pen to create depth.

For this project I used acrylic and I touched up the edges using quill and ink. Something I wish I could redo is the size of the gray deer's head. Looking at it now it looks disproportionate to his body.

For these projects I used a graphite pencil on approximately 5 by 5 piece of paper. Overall I enjoyed this project and it really helped me become better at using graphite pencils.
