Then answer it. After you know the answer, put the decimal dot in the right place. I will give you an easy example question.
 What is 12.4 multiplied by 5.6?
Let's do it. 124(no decimal dot) multiplied by 56? It's 6944. Put the decimal dot in the right place. The decimal dot needs to go between 
9 and 4 which give us the answer. 
The answer is 69.44.
