Everybody usually shops sustainably because of the cute bags and constant change in fashion, as well because shopping sustainably is easy and fun. But our world is in a critical position, the temperatures are rising, glaciers are melting, and islands are being lost to the sea and these individual actions like shopping for fun won’t help save our planet. We need collective actions from big industries, companies and countries for change to happen, we need to force people to do things. If we really want to save the world then we have to give up on doing things that harm the environment.

Consumption needs to stop!

People always try to avoid wasting things by reusing them or by recycling them but if we want to stop the pile of thrash growing then we got to stop overconsumption. We need to stop unnecessary hoarding things and only buy what is needed. If we buy extra food, we only end up throwing it away in the end when it rots. We should save electricity and try going on public transport . If we try this, we can save this world.

Small change can help

People don’t try taking any action because they normally think that individual action won’t help but if we try to take some action, we might be able to stop the world's destruction. If our schools and colleges try to educate us on the world’s condition, then we can take some action. Our schools and colleges could show how to preserve the environment and stop the environment deterioration and destruction. For every small action can make a big difference.

We have got to try saving this world because the earth is our only home and we have got no other planet to go to. If we try saving the world today, then surely our contributions will have an effect later.

Environment includes both living things and non-living things and there are many components such as physical, chemical and biological which make up the environment. Environment has begun to damage because human actions because of deforestation, pollution and burning of fossil fuels. Environmental damage has resulted in climate change.

Sustainability prevents climate change, which is the biggest concern these days. Because of climate change temperatures rise, glaciers begin to melt, oceans begin to rise, flooding become common, the movement in tectonic plates which result in earthquakes and low-lying lands and islands are lost to the sea. This is because of the emissions of greenhouse gases which are released to the atmosphere. If we want to prevent climate change then we need to switch to renewable energy such as solar, wind and hydropower instead of using fossil fuels. We could plant more trees, try conserving energy and reduce waste and consumption.

We need to start thinking about how to reduce our carbon footprint and help preserve the environment. We should engage in eco-friendly practices that can prevent climate and protect the environment. If we all take our part in trying to prevent climate change, we can ensure that there are enough resources for the present generation and future ones.
