We’re the Woodlands Academy robotics club, and every year, we build and program a robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. That may sound a bit intimidating, but you don’t have to have any experience in robotics to join the club. Most of our members didn’t know the difference between a nut and bolt when they joined, and now they’re designing and driving robots with ease.
Our team is divided into 2 committees: Building & Programming and MOB. Senior co-presidents Pamela Shattock and Steph Harpold lead the club. 
We meet every Wednesday during lunch in the droid lab (AKA Mr. Denman’s room, AKA room 118), and we hope to see you there next week!

Sophie's Singers meets Wednesdays 12:40pm-1:10pm in the Chapel. Open to all grade levels.

No audition and no experience needed!

This fall, choirs meet in person once a week for a brief and safe 30 minute vocal rehearsal. Outside of rehearsal you'll have the opportunity to learn essential skills such as music reading, vocal technique and anatomy, auditions 101, vocal strategies for musical theater singing, electronic composition for singers, and other special topics that will boost your musicianship.

Anyone can submit work to the magazine, and we accept everything from photos to short stories. We also host writing related events, like poetry slams in national poetry month, and plan collaborations, like our current one with the theater program for the fall play. If you have a love for creative writing in any form, this is the club for you!
We meet every Monday during lunch in Ms. Brostrom’s room, and we’d love to see you there.

WACOR meetings take place each Monday in the Chapel at 11:50AM. Representatives and Executive Board members are required to attend all meetings, but any one in the community is welcome to join!

You've probably already met us in your gym class! Our primary responsibility is helping to plan and execute gym classes throughout the year. We also fundraise for various sports-related causes, including the US Special Olympics, and plan the end of year sports awards ceremony!
