When first starting this project, I figured I should begin with some sort of research and time to gather my thoughts and ideas. So, I found some videos of egg drop experiments and websites on how to correctly conduct this trial. The theme that I found to be prevalent in everything I saw was the importance of lots of padding and volatile material, that "absorbed the shock". So at this point, I began to look into different materials that would work to lessen the force.

I worked with my Dad to find material around the house, along with what I could add to the holder for maximum protection. At last, I came up with the product. I would find a small box, and put the egg in there. But, the egg would be in a ziploc bag with a cushion-like material (possibly foam, bubble wrap, or lettuce). Then, the bag would be suspened in the box using pipe cleaners, and some sort of sticking substance (glue, tape, ect;.)
