We are excited to initiate an online exchange project between Myongji High School and Chia Chi High School. This will be a valuable learning opportunity for all of us.

We plan to organize three sessions, each featuring different topics. For our presentations and sharing, we will be using Padlet as a platform.

The first session is scheduled for May 9th and will focus on self-introductions and campus life sharing. To begin, we'll have an icebreaker activity called "Two Truths and a Lie." Each of you will prepare three statements about yourselves — two true and one false — and we will guess which one is the lie.

After the icebreaker, you will introduce yourselves and share highlights of your school life through presentation slides. Additionally, each group will post a photo of your school on Padlet and write two to three sentences describing the scene. This will serve as a great starting point for mutual sharing.

We will use Google Meet as our communication platform. Each group of Chia Chi students will set up a meeting link for their Korean partners.

Hello, my name is Sojeong Kim. I’m a student at Myeongji High School in South Korea. I joined this English class because I want to improve my English and gain more experience for my future career.

I like watching sports, especially soccer and baseball. Actually, I’m a big fan of FC Seoul, and I enjoy following their games. Watching sports helps me relax and have fun.

I also love traveling. I enjoy visiting new places in Korea and around the world. Traveling makes me happy and helps me learn about different cultures.

One of my favorite hobbies is watching baseball games. I recently found out that Taiwan also has a professional baseball league, and I’d love to learn more about it. Right now, I’m really looking forward to the next World Baseball Classic, which will be held next year.

I like to listen to calm music or exciting music. One of the most favorite music is ‘Home sweet home’ by Kardgarden because this song matches with dinner. So I recommend the song when you don’t know what to hear.

I‘m also interested in finding new food I’ve never seen before, especially sweet desserts. I know the most famous Taiwan desserts ‘bubble tea’, which is famous in South Korea thus there are many stores.

I love crafting and drawing. It makes me feel alive than anything I do. Also basketball too but I'm not good at it though, still have a lot to learn and same with the rest of my hobby. That's the fun part!

These days, I’ve been really interested in sports marketing, and I’d like to share a bit about why.

It all started when I was watching football ads featuring famous players. I realized that big brands weren’t just showing the players—they were telling stories. These ads were exciting, emotional, and really creative. That’s when I started to wonder: How do these brands come up with these ideas? And how do they connect so well with fans?

The more I watched, the more curious I became about how sports and business work together. Sports marketing isn’t just about selling products—it’s also about creating a strong image for both the athlete and the brand. I think it’s interesting how a player’s personality can match a brand’s message, and how that can make an ad feel more real and powerful.

I also enjoy looking at how sports teams use social media. These days, teams don’t just post game scores—they make fun and emotional content that fans can relate to. Some posts make people laugh, others inspire them. This made me think more about trends, emotions, and how people react to certain types of content. It’s helped me understand more about how marketing works in real life.

Getting into this field has also helped me feel more confident and creative. Sometimes when I see a cool ad or post, I think, “What would I have done differently?” or “Could I come up with something like this?” I’ve even started writing down little marketing ideas that pop into my head.

In the future, I hope to work at a global sports brand and come up with my own campaigns. I want to create content that makes people feel something—whether it’s excitement, pride, or passion—and helps bring them closer to the sports they love.
