(Spanish/Zamora) The students are to conduct a cultural interview with a family member, friend or teacher asking them to give an example of what they feel is most symbolic of Spanish culture and then also of local Zamora culture. The students will provide a recording of part of the interview in Spanish (small part) and there is also some English translation and an additional post with visual aids and more detailed descriptions. Additionally several teachers from Zamora will provide an image that they feel best represents Spain or Zamora with a brief description. I ask that you comment on each one or ask questions. Due June 8th, 11:59pm PST. Since this is our last interaction, please check back later (even though the term has ended) to read their responses. Even thought the teachers from Zamora did not post themselves their images, they will access this Padlet to respond to your comments or questions. It is a protected animal and there is heated debate between the conservationists and the sheep herders. A young man of 18 is chosen to dress in this outfit. These happens in January or February. He also teaches professional careers related to Sports (sports trainers, therapy and teachers). He chose sports teams. Zamora is a very active town. Some of the sports that  Zamoranos are into are running, cycling and rowing. It is truly one of the most healthy and sports oriented towns I have ever lived in! Even more than Portland.  Many compete in Triathlons. Sport groups are big here. Just about everyone belongs to one. They support and encourage each other and go to competitions together.
