Synthesis and analysis are two of the most important skills we can have as researchers, regardless of our major or college! I like analysis because it provides me with an opportunity to review the findings of my peers and either confirm their findings or give myself chance to present my own.

I'm a home gardener and I like to grow all of my own produce so that I don't have to shop at the store. I wonder how home gardening on a large scale would affect the detrimental impacts of mass vegetable production and if home gardening on a large scale could have any of those same detriments? For example, soil erosion, genetic invariability and bugs!

For people, animals and the environment, the act of pursuit is incredibly important because in order to understand one thing pursuing another or a weather system pursuing an end result, we have to understand the impetus behind each pursuit Environmental Science helps us do that by proposing the mechanisms behind why, how, what, when and where one thing in the environment changes to another!

I like to create positive situations and outcomes for myself and others. We have the ability to create situations for ourselves, others and environment as well the ability to change those situations. Mother Nature has the same ability, and it fascinates me. I wonder how we might create situations where Mother Earth is obligated (by our impetus) to respond? Climate change comes to mind as one example...
