His Second Day of Life

Pablo was born 02/03/2025 to Ram and Grant. He is a miniature, red-skinned potato. He had to undergo emergency face surgery as he was born to chisel his non-existent jaw. As you can see, he was quite dry and had newborn acne.

Pablo's First Po-PooPoo

Thankfully, Pablo's surgery went well and his newborn acne dissipated with thorough, attentive care! His first po-poopoo was a real stinker! It smelled like week old, soggy McDonald's french fries rapidly growing mold, but we are so grateful that our adopted baby is both happy and healthy.

Our Gender Reveal

We wanted to be surprised by which gender veggie we get from the National Veggie Adoption Center. Ram and Grant had no preference Pablo would be a tomato or tomato. But safe to say, we are elated to have the chance to lead and guide a new life into this beautiful world!

Baby Announcement

We are so excited to announce that the Potatsos will be adopting a baby potato! He was born in the rich fields of Ireland, had a quite nerve-wracking medical pitstop, and a long-haul flight across the Atlantic to meet his new parents!

First Taste of Solid Food

Pablo's first bite of real food was something quite simple-- bread. This day, Pablo was unable to be dropped off at daycare due to the snow so he was able to spend the whole day with us! As you can see, Pablo is very happy being fed the bread. He ate a lot! He has quite the appetite for the little starchy, veggie our sweet boy is!

Peek-a-Boo

Pablo had his first play date! His first play date was with Rishi's baby, Harry Potater. They had a grand old time and now are officially potato baby best friends. Even though they are the same age, either Harry is a big boy or Pablo is just a little behind the curve for his age. We suspect this and have been taking him to the pediatrician regularly.

Drawing Time

Of course, the potato babies could not hold the pencils for themselves so had to help them out. As you can see, they make a little house together. Pablo made the roof orange and Harry made the walls of the house in magenta. Yay! Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Warming Up

Our sweet boy Pablo is a bit shy and slow to warm up to others. In fact, he has separation anxiety and stranger anxiety already at the young age of only 1 week when it's supposed to start at 1 year old. That's okay we guess. Anyway, Harry was making a good impression when they first met each other and Pablo was still in his carrier. After a few minutes, they began playing and became the best of friends.

Taking a Nap

Pablo loves sleeping with Grant-- something that makes Ram very angry and jealous. As you can see, Grant is smirking a little bit because he doesn't want to wake the baby. Pablo, for some reason, always had this weird smile on his face. It's like he is happy, but forced to. Anyway, for now we think it's cute. He loves to sleep. He's our itty-bitty sleepyhead.
