1. Find someone to cover your shift first.
2. When you've found someone to cover, make the trade request on the When To Work website. 
3. If you can't find anyone to cover and you really need the shift off, send me a text or come in and talk to me. I'll work with you.
4. Requests for time off the day of your shift is not a good idea, and I recommend you avoid doing this. Emergencies happen, though, I understand that those are different. But requests made because you have other non-emergency things going on during your shift will result in a conversation with me. I'm nice and understanding, but no one likes being in the boss' office, am I right? :)
5. You've all done awesome jobs at taking care of your shifts and a lot of you have been great about picking up extra ones here and there. Believe me, your help has not gone unnoticed. Please keep this up.
