Angel Maturino Resendiz was a serial killer that is suspected in 23 murders in the 1990’s. While he traveled the across Canada, USA and Mexico he jumped off trains and committed crimes along the way. He murdered his victims in their homes, and would take sentimental items along with the victims drivers licence.  Resendiz was executed on June 27 2006.  Before he was executed he said “ I don’t believe in death, me as a person I am eternal”.

An interesting fact about this case was that before killing himself while awaiting trial, he left a suicide note with 11 skulls which lead the FBI to believe he murdered at least 11 victims.  Keyes killed far from home and never in the same location twice.

Another interesting fact is that Keyes claimed to only use guns when absolutely necessary because he likes witnessing the victim loose consciousness in the struggle. 

ANOTHER interesting fact is that Kyekes claimed not to kill children or parents of children because of his own daughter.

Laundrie disappeared and later committed suicide. I find this case interesting because you never find out why he did it, but it came out that he shot her in the head.

He pled guilty to killing a young couple, and is now serving a life sentence. I find it very interesting that there seems to be a low victim count. The article does mention that they are not 100% sure if there are uncovered bodies of women he killed and dumped, but he did not admit to killing more than the couple.

I think it's interesting that he funded his life by befriending and stealing money and identities from tourists. Reading the Wikipedia page two of his years doing this were done with a romantic partner of whom he has a child with.

And while he had done this for most of his life, in 2007 he decided to kill multiple women during his time at truck stops.

Mendenhall murdered at least four women during his time as a truck driver in Alabama, Indiana, and Tennessee; and is still under investigation for murders in Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. These victims were mainly young prostitutes that were shot to death.

He was arrested around the same time, and is still undergoing investigation to this day.

On October 10, 1981 Issac took advantage of 36 year-old Jean Mary Kovacs who had been evicted from a bar in Prince George after drinking for several hours. He came into contact with Kovacs on the side of a highway intersection. Kovacs was shot 4 times, her body was mutilated and her body was later discovered in a water ditch near Pruden Lake. 

What I find most interesting about this case is, Isaac was active along the Highway of Tears for a few years before his girlfriend  contacted the police regarding the horrific acts of violence Isaac committed.

Ford was found guilty of the four murders, but is thought to have killed more, and is currently on death row.

Martin had a reputation of befriending tourists, killing them and then dismembering their corpses. He robs them of their wallets, credit cards, cash and passports. Martin had considerable skill as a prison butcher and Lowe's body showed signs of being dismembered professionally.

In Singapore high court, he was found guilty and sentenced to the death penalty by hanging in Changi Prison.

In prison, he began earning literary respect and convinced people he was a reformed man, earning his release in 1990. After his release, he then murdered another nine sex workers in Europe and Los Angeles. His sex worker killings began in Austria, however, his interest in violent crimes at the heart of cities brought him to Los Angeles. He was convicted of the murders and committed suicide on June 29, 1994.

His victims were mostly women and he was sentences to life in prison with no chance of parole. I think the most interesting thing about the case is that he was arrested numerous times throughout the time span of his killings with  unconscious women in his car, and even though he did go to prison for some of those arrests, he wasn't fully convicted of the numerous murders until 2013. He had been arrested 30 times by 2012, for accounts of rape, murder, and assault but still managed to get out of prison and keep killing.
