On a dark Halloween night, a group of friends was on a deserted island, inside a cabin, telling scary stories, until it was Jacob's turn to tell his. "Long, long ago, there were reports of a monster on that island that didn't like company...," and the campfire went out. With fear, everyone went to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Anderson heard strange noises and woke up the rest of the group. When they awoke, they realized that Jacob was not there. In desperation, they went to look for him. Along the way, they encountered the dreaded monster, and they ran. But Olivia lagged behind and noticed something strange about the monster. She approached and saw that it was a disguise. She removed the mask and discovered that it was Jacob.

After that night, they left the island, having experienced the best Halloween of their lives.

Mary, the girl next door with a normal life, brunette, dark brown eyes, that always had the same every day routine. She woke up, had breakfast, go to school, then she came back home, took a shower, had dinner and she has going to bed, but in that special day……… she did same thing like always!!!

She got up at 7 am like every day, eat some cereal and left for school.

When came back home, she was going to do her normal routine but she was exhausted from school, so decided to lay down a little on the couch and felt asleep.

When she opened her eyes she realized that she felt asleep, then she turned off the tv because she was watching a horror movie and got up stairs to take a shower before dinner. Mary entered the bathroom and door closed very quickly, she thought it was the wind so she decided to closer the window, the light started to flash very quickly.

She got to the mirror and her reflection was not normal it was dark and scary, not herself. Mary had a brother so thought that he pranked her but her brother wasn’t at home. She didn’t care about it so took a shower anyways. Mary felt like she was being observed and she went to confirm that, when a black shadow passed by her really quick. The girl quickly turned the shower off and started panicking because of the shadow and the noise that it was coming from outside, she went to the mirror and saw the shadow beside her.

Mary yelled….. but no one heard.

Only the shadow heard. Mary beg for mercy but we all know that scary and dark shadows don’t have mercy for no one in this world. Mary ran down stairs to the kitchen and grabbed a knife but the knife flew out of her hand and went to her stomach by the influence of the dark shadow.

Mary woke up, scared, and realized it was just a horror nightmare.

Little did Mary know the nightmare would happen….

There is a myth that in that house,1990 a woman was killed by his toxic father,in the neck with a knife,so every group of people in Halloween that enters in that house disappears and appears death in the same way that the womandied,so is thought that is house is cursed.This halloween Henry and his friends wanted to enter the house to prove to the others that the myth was not true.At the beginning they just saw cobwebs,all the furniture fallen and Henry thought that house it was just abandoned and not haunted,untilthe group start to listening strange noises,like laughter,slamming doors and voices.Henry has he was very brave,he encouraged his friends to go to the first floor and when they went of they saw a figure moving from one room to another.When they saw the figure they were so scared that they started to go down quickly.Henry feel down the stairs and when he go to the end,the woman killed him with a knife in the neck,just in the same way she had died.

Shortly after the friends started running out of the house and they came to the conclusion that the myth was true.Many years later his body was found in the river near by the haunted house.In the end they started to get traumatized and they never wanted to leave to their houses again on Halloween.

  It was a normal day, at the Holland family house. The mother,Carla, was in the kitchen making pumpkin cookies when her daughter, Scarlet, was in her room, talking with her friends about a Halloween party.

  When the phone call ended, she went downstairs and asked her mother :

  -Mom! Can I go to a halloween party with Emma and Lily?

  -Humm, I don´t know! where is the party?

  -In Salem city! It's the biggest Halloween party in the country.

  -Definitely no! you know Salem city is dangerous on halloween, besides i have a feeling that something bad will happen.

  -Please mom! I promise you I will be careful.

  -I said NO!

  Scarlet, obviously upset, went to her room thinking about a plan to escape and go to the party.

  It was almost midnight when Scarlet escaped through the window. She was walking down the street when she felt that someone was watching her, so she looked back, but she didn't see anything, just the wind blowing through the trees. Then the girl remembered what her mother said about having a bad feeling,so she got scared.

  When she turned to continue her way, there were a lot of killer pumpkins smiling at her with knives in their hands covered in blood. Scarlet just started running for her life, but then she tripped on a killer dog in front of her house. Suddenly she felt the cold metal of a knife pass through her heart, before she died.  

  From inside the house, Carla heard a scream, but when she opened the door she saw her dead daughter outside in the cold. The mother, terrified, started crying and turned to call 911 when the killer dog bit her until she was dead.

Ethan:-Are you sure about this, Emily? The locals say this place is cursed.

Emily:-Come on, Ethan. It's just a bunch of old superstitions, besides, it'll be an adventure!

The couple entered the cabin, its old door amplifying the sinister atmosphere. A chill ran down their spines.

Ethan:-This place gives me the creeps, Hemmm, I don't like it.

Emily:-Don't be such a scaredy-cat, Ethan. Let's make a fire, it'll feel cozy in no time.

As they gathered wood for the fireplace, strange noises echoed from the dark woods surrounding them. Ethan couldn't ignore the feeling of being watched.

Ethan:-Did you hear that, Emily? It sounds like whispers.

Emily:-Probably just the wind. Now, help me start the fire.

They managed to get a fire going, its warm glow casting shadows on the cabin's rustic interior. But their unease didn't dissipate. A sudden, bone-chilling breeze blew out the candles.

Ethan:-Okay, that's not the wind. Something's not right

Emily:-Maybe it's just an air current. Let me relight those candles.

Emily attempted to relight the candles, but they refused to stay lit. Panic set in as shadows formed ominously on the cabin walls.

Ethan:-We need to get out of here, Now!!!

Just as they tried to flee, the cabin's door slammed shut, sealing them inside as the room grew impossibly cold.

Emily:-We can't get out, Ethan!! What's happening?

Ethan:-I don't know, but we have to stick together. We'll find a way out.

As they explored the cabin, they discovered an old journal left behind by a previous tenant. It detailed a dark history of the cabin, including a restless spirit that haunted the place. The journal revealed a ritual to calm down the vengeful entity.

Ethan:- We have to perform this ritual

Emily:- It's our only chance.

Emily:- Alright, let's do it. Anything to get out of here.

The couple followed the ritual instructions, trembling in fear, as they chanted ancient words. Suddenly, the room shook, and a strange presence enveloped them.

Vengeful Spirit:- You have freed me from my torment. I am forever grateful.

Ethan and Emily watched in fear as the spirit dissipated. The cabin's atmosphere lifted, and the door opened.

Ethan:- Let's never come back here, Emily.

Emily:- Agreed!!

A lonely chapel in forgotten village helel a dark secret.The shadowns held the ghost of a priest who had been wrongfully executed.He was falsely charged with doing darkmagic.Tomerted and nindictive, his soul prowled the chapel at night, seelcing his vengeance .

The priest's innocence was reported in local legend, but terror kept the information quiet. Uhaware of the church's somber past, a curious stranger arrived one permeated night. Ghostly apparitions materialized and murmus of grief permeated the air as he explored.

The haunted ghost disclosed his terrible story framed by a dishonest bishop who wantedhis position of authority, he received a death sentence. Mis ghostly from ached for validation and begged for justice. The traveler promised to reveal the reality.

The translucent from of the priest quivered whit a misture of sorrow and rage as his spectral presence materialized with an unsetting glow. The traveler discribed how the room it self hadbecome a portat to the netherworld as he spoke, and there was an absolute chill in the air. The words of the priest resounded in the darkened church, bearing the weight ofcenturies of injustice.

Captured by the priest's tale, the traveler felt compussion for the wrong fully condenned soul. he understood the great tragedy vowed fervently to clear the priest's name, he spirit's once dejected eyes now shone with hope.

They united as an alliance determined to uncover the truth and toke on theevil bishop who had ordered the priest's execution. The moonlight creted long, spookg of a terrifying but ultimately redeeming sourney was on the traveler's shoulders, and their deliberate footsteps echocd trough the cerie darkness.

The once peared church was enveloped in the warmth of redemption as down broke. The traveler left whith a terrifying but ultimately victorious story of a ghost who was wrongfullykilled but was now free from the bonds of retaliation

On October 31st, a guy whose name is Smith, was alone at home, he was moving to Boston, it was all new for him. The night was very cold and a storm invaded the city, suddenly a lightning struck the electricity pole and fell and all the houses were without electricity, he started looking for flashlights he had brought ,but they didn’t have batteries. Soon after, he went straight to his Neighbor's house to ask for batteries, the trees shook strongly and the lightning was increasingly fierce.

Smith desperately knocked on his Neighbor's door as he was disoriented due to the storm. Then the door opened and Smith asked:

-Hi, im Smith, i just Moved for here, anyways, i don’t have the battery for my flashlights, do you have any?

-Hey, im Linda, nice to meet you, i think i do, if you want you can come in.

While Linda went to get the batteries, Smith care in and waited. Smith heard something outside and went to see what it was, as he approached the door it closed immediately. Smith looks ahead because he heard a whisper and saw a shadow reflected to the mirror and then he looked back and was nothing there, he started getting worried and went looking for Linda, he went up the stairs that Linda had climbed and saw that she was dead in the attic, when he approached he was consumed by the bad smell and began to feel dizzy and ended up fainting, when he woke up, Linda's body was no longer there, and he saw a trail of blood leading him to the mirror and saw that her mouth was covered iN blood, when he saw the blood he started to vomit and saw that in the middle of the vomit they were bones.

He looked in the Mirror and saw the saMe shadow he had seen down there and immediately realized that he had been possessed and had killed Linda.

As the night deepened, a group of friends decided to explore the rumored haunted mansion at the edge of town. The mansion, with its crumbling façade and ivy-covered walls, stood as a testament to a bygone era. Legends whispered that a ghostly figure wandered its halls, seeking revenge for a long-forgotten injustice.

Undeterred by the ominous tales, the friends entered the mansion with flashlights in hand. Creaky floorboards echoed beneath their cautious steps as they ventured into the dimly lit rooms. The air grew colder, and strange whispers seemed to dance in the shadows.

In the grand ballroom, a flickering chandelier cast an ethereal glow on a dusty piano. Without warning, a haunting melody filled the room, played by unseen hands. The friends exchanged nervous glances, their heartbeats synchronized with the eerie music.

As the last note faded, a figure materialized at the top of the grand staircase – a ghostly apparition cloaked in tattered finery. The friends gasped, frozen in fear as the ghostly figure descended, revealing a sorrowful expression.

With a soft, echoing voice, the ghost spoke of a tragic love story that had unfolded within these walls centuries ago. The friends listened in awe, feeling a mixture of sympathy and fear. As the tale concluded, the ghostly figure extended a spectral hand, inviting them to join in a final dance.

In the moonlit ballroom, the friends swayed to the melancholic music, surrounded by the echoes of the past. As the clock struck midnight, the ghostly figure vanished, leaving the friends with a tale to tell and a newfound appreciation for the magic that lingered in the air on Halloween night in Hollowbrook.

  To reach my goal, I have to study a lot, always read about each clinical situation presented to me and be psychologically prepared.

  The positive aspect is to be able to help many people. The negative aspects are that many doctors are devalued, especially blacks. People in need are always the last to receive good treatments and they make a lot of exploitation to doctors, making them work non-stop.

   So, I’ve decided to take the exam for medical university, as an option and, if I pass, I hope to give my best, and help as many people as possible.

To reach my goals, firstly I need to start working hard from now on and ensure that I will perform well academically by getting good grades. Secondly, I also think it is important to do some extracurricular activities that help me develop and discover my skills and interests.

There are many exciting advantages to going positively to university and one of them is the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. However, there are also some negative aspects such as academic pressure and the huge amount of work and exams.

This summer me and my family went to Spain, we stayed for 4 nights. All nights we always taked a walk in the streets, the nights were very warm and it was full of people. During the days we were on the beach or in the pool.

It was very relaxing , we all had a good time together and i hope we repeat in the next year.

In the 10th grade, we went on a field trip to a river beach, where we spent the day doing various activities, canoeing, group games, and swimming, we had a great time. The natural surroundings made it even more special, and we took several photos to remember the day.

On the way back, Vasco fell asleep on the bus, which made us all laugh, and we took a picture to capture the moment.

It was a day full of laughter, adventures, and unforgettable memories.

I am Rodrigo Crespo, I am 16 years old and recently, I had the opportunity to spend three days on a family trip to Gerês, a destination in northern Portugal that left a lasting impression on me. This short escape was filled with nature, food, and unforgettable moments that made it truly special.

Discovering the Beauty of Gerês

Our first stop was Gerês, a stunning natural park known for its landscapes and tranquility. Over two days, we explored the region, hiking through lush greenery and discovering waterfalls. One of the highlights was the picturesque waterfall we found after a short trail – its pristine waters cascading into a clear pool below.

A Personal Reflection

This trip reminded me how important it is to spend quality time with family. The beauty and serenity of Gerês gave me a sense of peace, and I left feeling grateful for these simple, yet special moments.

Hello! My name is Leonor Félix and im 16 years old. I am going to talk about one of my favorite moments of holidays, wich was the day i went for a walk with my friends in Lisbon. We had planned to go lunch at a restaurant in Parque das Nações and then go for a walk through Vasco da Gama!

The day started with us taking the boat to Cais do Sodré and then the subway to Vasco da Gama. When we got there we took a walk through the shopping center and went to see the shops. When it was lunch time we were already quite hungry and we went straight to the restaurant, the place was very welcoming and had a beautiful view of the river, we really liked despite it was a little expensive. After lunch time we went for a walk around Parque das Nações, it was a very pleasant sunny day! In the afternoon we took a subway and went to Colombo and shopping for clothes and had an açaí bowl. We spend the rest of the day there, looking at the shops, chatting and gossiping!

In my personal opinion, it was a dar very well spent and one that will remain in my memory. I had a lot of fun and i hope to be able to do it again many more thing!

    On this day, me and my friends Patricia and Leonor have decided to go walk in Lisbon.

We arrived in Lisbon around 11 am and visited the shops in Baixa Chiado, then went to Rossio for lunch at mc donalds. Afternoon we went to Colombo and Patrícia's boyfriend called us and said that there were no more boats for us to return home. As a result, we became desperate and wondered how we were going to get home. So we decided go to Sete Rios to catch a train to home. However, when we got there we felt like going to the bathroom, so we had to walk to the Jardim Zoológico to go to the bathroom and then we went to McDonalds for ice cream.

      Despite all the random things that happened that day, the day was really cool and funny and we discovered a new way to get home.

On September 9th of 2024, we had the opportunity to experience one of the most fun and chaotic moments during a trip to a river beach where there were a variety of activities that we did, such as canoeing, some group games, etc. At some point, me and eight other people were trying to stand on the board, which caused a sequence of giggles and near falls. Me and Beatriz managed to capture a perfect photo, grinning while Rodrigo, Inês and Rafaela in the background hilariously fought to stay on the board. This moment was very special and we decided to capture it to stay forever in our minds.

In my personal opinion, it was a day that I will never forget it. For me, this was a unique day, which is to remind me of how important it is to spend time with those we like. It was the kind of spontaneous fun that maked the day unforgettable!

Numanice is a concert that lasts eight hours, performed by the singer Ludmilla and some guests. This concert took place on September 28th at the Restelo stadium in Lisbon. That day, my friend and I got in line early and managed to get to the front line of our sector. The public were really funny, which made the concert much more fun.

It was a really amazing day with lots of music and drinks. A memory that will be keep forever, and I hope to return next year!!

The game hapened on the 29 of september at the stadium da luz, the game ended with the result of 1-0 for benfica. The atmosphere at the stadium was incredible, people were celebrating the win around the stadium.

It was realy special for me because i was able to see my team win in person for the first time, and it was against one of our bigest rivals.

On 24th of May of 2024 , around 6pm, I entered the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. I was about to see my favourite artist, Taylor swift, with two of my best friends. I couldn’t believe that was actually happening, because three days before I didn’t even had the tickets. But that is a story for another day. After two hours of waiting and watching Paramore singing, she started the show that lasted almost 4 hours.

I’ve never felt so happy in my life. We danced, screamed, laughed and cried a lot. I would do it all over and over again!!!

On May 24th, I went with my team to a pavilion in Seixal to fight. I had to wait a few hours for my turn, I was a little nervous but I was with a friend.A few minutes before the fight, my coach came to talk to me to calm me down, as I was very anxious, When they called me I went in and started the fight, I heard my team supporting me from the stands and I felt confident, I tried to concentrate as much as possible, and that's how I won my first fight. I felt really good, I was still shaking with nerves, but I was happy, and knowing that my parents were there I felt really good. I went to meet my team and my parents and then we celebrated at a dinner organized by the association, and that was my unique moment

From Octuber 4th to 10th i was on ACAREG what is it a regional camp with scouts of Setúbal.On the first day,when we arrive to the Sesimbra Natura Parque,we started to build our kitchen,"beds" and living area.We do a lot of activities like canoeing,slide,ride,go to the beach,among others.At the nigths we take a bit of our time between the dinner and the bed time to coexist with others scouts.

It was very good,we learn to work in community and with other persons that we don't know,if I could go back to this moment I would go whiteout think twice.

Now it’s time for fall to start and say goodbye to summer.

Hii! My name is Joana and I can’t believe that summer is over, but I’m very grateful for every moment I spend on my holidays.

I’m going to tell you about the moment that I will never forget and will always carrie in my heart forever.

Wow it was amazing!

We spent there the first days of August , watching the sunset and eating a lot of delicious food. Our goal was going to the beach and getting tanned and we did it!

We also went to restaurants and a few parties, it was great! My grandparents were the amazing for letting us spend the days there and I have to admit, they also had fun! I was so happy those days, I felt like a little kid!

I will make this a tradition and a priority every summer!

I loved those moments and loved creating memories with the person I’m lucky to call best friend.

So with that the summer of 2024 comes to an end and I promise that next summer we will have more Sesimbra.

Two years ago, me and my class went on a trip to Seville, due to us having spanish lessons. It lasted 3 days and was definitely memorable. The rooms were spacious, accommodating up to 5 people. It let me have the time of my life with my friends. This trip is unique due to it being the only time I ever left Portugal, let alone have 3 days with my friends.

Overall it was a very good time and gave me some of the best memories I have. Seville is also a very beautiful destination and is definitely worth visiting.

A NIGHT TO FORGET

It´s Halloween night. Everyone is dressed with scary costumes, and houses are decorated with typical halloween stuff. But something felt off, the athmosfere was heavy and different. It felt old.

I was coming back from college , when I passed by my favourite library. I decided to get in, to see if they had more books of my favourite poet, Geoffrey Chaucer. When I walked to the normal sector, I started to hear someone saying my name, "Evie... Evie... Evie...". There was something about this voice that made me follow it. When I finally arrived to the origin of the voice, I found a book over the table. For my surprise, it was "Troilus and Criseyde" by Chaucer. I opened it right away and an explosion of light involved me.

When I opened my eyes everything felt different. People were dressed in medieval clothes and I could swear I was hearing a mix of French and English. I was so mesmerized by what was happening that I didn´t noticed this boy approaching me. He started talking to me but I had no clue of what he was saying because it was mostly French, I could believe he was norman the only thing I understand was is name and I was shocked. His name was Troilus and for my surprise he was very handsome and his skin was very shiny.

He showed me the village and there was something familiar about it. Then I came to the conclusiom I´ve been here before. Not in person, but in my mind, when I was reading Geoffrey Chaucer books, in the Middle English period. I started to cry because I felt emotional, and then suddently I felt the presence of Troilus. He was acting extremely weird and looking at my neck. When out of nowhere he bite my neck and I just saw black.

When I opened my eyes I was at the library again, but the book wasn´t on the table anymore. I started running at the door, I just wanted to leave this nightmare. I finally got to the streets and everything was normal again. I was so relieved...

I was almost in home when I saw this boy dressing as vampire smiling at me. Then, my heart felt to the floor. It wasn´t just a common boy. It was Troilus , and his sharped teeths were calling my name.

 The ground trembled with the arrival of the norman knights. They were so many I couldn't even count, and their forces was not the worst part, the worst part was their heads where a knight's helm should be, each man had a large and glowing orange vegetable, a pumpkin. Their eyes were empty and seemed soulless staring at us, they were silent, yet we heard their war scream, grinning at us.

 They were so far from us, but I can even feel them touching me as they were just staring in front of me, my comrades and I were shaking in fear as they marched toward us upon our sacred land.

 Our shield-wall was crushed by their candycane, and their brute force that crushed ten men with only once swing. We tried retreat to the city but their power was overwhelming, and only a few of us could escape the battlefield. As the laugh at the dead bodys, covered in blood.
The ones that reached the city were safe, for now... from the devilish pumpkin knights.

It was a rainy night and Clare fell asleep in her confy bed but when she woke up, she was laying in a cold,hard stone.Clare was freezing because her princess pyjamas weren´t warm enough for the chilly weather, when she looked around, she noticed herself surrounded by a medieval village. That was when an old woman with a wrinkled face approached her and said:

-Little spirit, you shall go to the stone circle now. The other ones will know what to do.

The old woman pointed the way and, trembling, Clare climbed up the hill.The atmosphere was suffocating, it felt like the trees were watching and wispering at her.

When she got to the top of the hill she saw an old crippled man who understood the situation immeadiatly and said:

-The gates are open tonight it seems...

The man then gave her a little candle with a blue flame, shortly after a bunch of masked men and women appeared.They were mumbling words which the little girl couldn´t understand.

Then in what seemed like a ritual there were bright flashing lights, that made it almost impossible to see, and suddenly, the lights stopped and she found herself back in her room, thinking if that had been all a dream but later she noticed the clandle´s blue fire , shining in the dark.

"The Flame that Separated Time"

Sixteen year old Marie had always loved Halloween, the thrill, the costumes and the chill in the air. And this year it wasn't any different. While walking back from a party

her phone buzzed with a message notification "Do you wish to experience the past this Halloween?" Thinking it was a prank and being in the Halloween spirit, she ended up answering "yes", and the world developed into darkness.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself lying in a muddy field beneath a grey sky, The year was 1348.

Her jeans and hoddie drew the stares of the villagers, her glowing phone caused panic, The village whispered "Sorcery" and "witch", before she could understand everything that was happening the villagers brought her before the local priest

After seeing what he belived was a "sorcer's mirror", he accused Marie of being a witch and orderer her to be burned at the stake, Marie tried to defend and explain herself, but that only drew more conviction to the priest that she was a witch.

Later that night, bound to a wooden stake, Marie screamed for help but no one could understand. The torchlight flickered against her tear-streaked face as the crowd chanted prayers. Just before the flames reached her, the phone buzzed one last time—“Returning you home.”

She woke up back in her bedroom, smoke on her clothes, the smell of burning wood in the air. Halloween would never feel the same again.

The Mysterious Hourglass

It all started on Halloween night, My friend and I were exploring an old castle in Coimbra the greatest castle of Penela . The walls were covered in moss, and the wind was blowing through the broken windows, sounded like a ghost’s whisper.

When we opened the door, it creaked loudly. As we stepped inside, we were amazed by how well preserved the castle was. There were no signs of vandalism or people having been there recently.

While exploring my friend and I found the only locked door in the entire castle. We searched for a way in, until we found a chest with a golden key and an hourglass carved with emeralds. My friend took the key and accidentally touched the hourglass. Suddenly we passed out.

A few hours later, we woke up but everything was different. We were in the medieval era shocked, we looked around and saw wooden houses and people wearing tunics and cloaks. A group of villagers was staring at us, shouting “Witchees !” as if we were demons.

Terrified, we ran towards a church, hoping to find safety. Inside, we hid behind a statue of Jesus, waiting for things to calm down. Just when we thought we were safe, a priest appeared behind us and grabbed us. He started asking strange questions in a language we barely understood.

Then he took us outside to the witch burnings back in the day to burn us and he was about to tie us to the stake when he accidently shook the hourglass that was in my friend’s pocket and…

It was Halloween night. While everyone went to parties, dressed as zombies, vampires, and scary things, Anne, a keen student of the university of Oxford, went to the library. She didn’t like Halloween very much, she preferred reading instead.

As she was walking through the library, she found one book that caught her eye titled The Norman Shadows. The book itself looked old, covered in dust, and it was written in Middle English, a reminder of the 14th century where people still believed in ghosts, witches, and all sorts of things.

On that specific day, October 31st , Anne was having a rough day, and while she was reading the book, the words became imperceptible as she grew tired and her eyes started to close, until her head dropped and hit onto the book and she fell asleep.

When Anne opened her eyes again, she was lying in the middle of a road. To her shock, she realised she was no longer in 2025, she was in England in the 14th century. There the air was cold and the people around her wore medieval clothes and spoke a strange language. It was Middle English, the very language she had just been studying moments ago.

As the night fell, Anne felt more and more afraid and wanted to go back, but as she looked around, everything seemed strange. The villagers were placing candles on their doors and praying to keep Norman shadows away. Suddenly, was a silence in the village. Everyone seemed agitated because the shadows, who were soldiers that died during the Norman conquest had returned it. The citizens began to move all over and ran to their homes, slamming their doors.

Anne rushed into a place with lots of animals. The shadows were all over the place, whispering words and running and surrounding everybody, including animals. Terrified, Anne began to sob in panic, and fearing for her life, as the figures were possessing the villagers one by one. Then, all of the sudden, Anne fainted and it felt as if the world itself had died.

When Anne opened her eyes again, she was back in the library. The atmosphere around her looked normal except her hands were covered in dirt. On the open page of the book, new words had appeared, written in what looked like blood were saying:

“The Norman Shadows never let you go once they know you.” To this day, Anne doesn't know if it was only a dream or if she truly travelled through time.

On a dark Halloween night, while Ella's parents were handing out candies to the children who knocked on the door to trick-or-treat, Ella sneaked into the house without her parents knowing.

Ella, a normal 17-year-old girl, went to her first Halloween party that night—in fact, the first party she'd ever gone to without her parents knowing. She'd stayed out all night without telling anyone. At her house, the door knocked... it was children in costumes asking Ella's parents for candies. The girl, who was returning home, took advantage of her parents' distraction and seized the opportunity to climb a tree and enter the house through her bedroom window.

When she entered, in complete silence, she hurried to bed as quickly as possible, as the front door closed. Footsteps were heard, and Ella climbed into bed and turned on the television. Her father came in to check on her. When he left, Ella decided to watch a Halloween movie. After a while, she realized she had fallen asleep. Until suddenly, she heard a loud bang coming from her closet. She decided to open the closet and saw a door she had never seen before. She opened the door and traveled back to the Middle English era, back in the 14th century. Ella met Jeff, a handsome boy from that time. He explained to her everything that was happening at that time, he told her about the Norman Conquest, but Ella remained a little confused, as she didn't quite understand some of the words Jeff was saying.She told him that that day, October 31st, they celebrated Halloween. Jeff didn't know what Halloween was, because for them, it was just another normal day. Jeff told her that there was a serious killer on the loose.

He showed her everything there was to show in the town, until they arrived at a beautiful church, where Jeff invited her to enter. She entered the church and suddenly Jeff grabbed her from behind, making her faint.

She woke up, dizzy and unaware of what had happened, and noticed she was tied to a chair in the middle of a circle, with strange symbols, symbols that she never saw in her life. These symbols were part of a ritual.

Jeff appeared with a satisfied look. Ella screamed but to no avail, she realized that Jeff was the Serious Killer. Then Jeff took a knife and killed her in cold blood, saying some weird words, something she couldn't understand, without any mercy or forgiveness. She was used as a sacrifice.

Ella woke up in her bed, scared and panicked. She realized it was all a dream. But she didn't knew it hadn't been a dream, it was about to happen...

It was a rainy Halloween evening when Emily, Steven, and Chloe wanted to try Steven’s new invention — a time machine he made for school. Everyone thought it was just a toy, but they wanted to prove it really worked. When Steven pressed the silver button, a bright light appeared, and a cold wind blew around them.

“This is crazy,” Emily whispered. “Did it really work?”

“Relax,” Steven said, trying to sound brave. “We’re just in another time.”

“Then you go first,” Chloe said.

Their hearts were beating fast, but they stepped out of the glowing light.

They were now in a small village with wooden houses and people wearing old clothes. The air smelled like smoke.A knight on a horse rode by and looked at them. Far away, they saw a big stone castle.

“This can’t be real,” Chloe said with a shaking voice.

Steven. “Maybe someone is filming a movie.”

But when they heard church bells and saw people kneeling to pray, they understood — they were really in the past.

A nun walked toward them. “You are not from here,” she said. “You came through time.”

Emily froze. “How do you know that?”

The nun pointed at the shining machine in Steven’s hand. “That is forbidden magic. The king must not see it.”

“We have to go,” Chloe whispered. “Now!”

Before they could move, soldiers appeared with swords. “Catch the strangers!” they screamed

The three friends ran back to the machine. Steven pressed the button, and the light came again. The nun watched them with a small smile. “One day,” she said, “you will return.”

When they got back home, everything was quiet. But on the floor near the machine, there was a silver coin with the year 1327 on it.

Since that day, they never used the time machine again. But sometimes, on Halloween,they still hear a voice whisper:

“Come back…”

It was Halloween night, and 16-year-old Liam decided to explore the abandoned library at the edge of town. The wind howled, and the full moon lit the cracked windows as he stepped inside. Dust covered everything like a ghostly blanket.

On a table, he found a strange brass clock, its hands spinning backward. Beside it lay a faded note: “Turn the hands, and time itself will bend.”

Curious, Liam twisted the clock’s hands. A freezing wind rushed through the room, and suddenly the floor vanished beneath him.

When he opened his eyes, he was standing in the middle of a muddy village lit by torches. People in rough clothes spoke strange words — Middle English. He could smell wood smoke drifting through the air. A man shouted, “Sorcerer!” and the villagers backed away in fear.

Before Liam could react, soldiers in chainmail grabbed him and dragged him toward the church. Inside, candlelight flickered over stone walls. The priest demanded that he prove he wasn’t a witch. Desperate, Liam pulled the clock from his pocket — and it began to glow. The torches burst into blue flames, and the crowd screamed.

The priest raised a cross, shouting prayers, but the church door slammed shut by itself. Shadows twisted across the floor, forming strange shapes that crawled toward Liam.

Panicking, he turned the clock’s hands again — one click, two clicks — and everything dissolved into darkness.

He woke up on the library floor, shaking. The clock sat silently beside him, its hands frozen at midnight. The note was gone.

As he stood, he noticed muddy footprints leading to the door — not his own.

Outside, the church bell began to ring.

It was Halloween night. The wind was cold and the moon was bright.

Three friends, Emily, Jack and Sarah, were walking home after a party.

In the park, they saw an old stone arch covered in fog.

Strange letters were written on it.

“What is this?” asked Jack.

Sarah touched the stone and suddenly a strong light appeared.

Everything went dark.

When they opened their eyes, they were in a small village.

The houses were made of wood and straw.

People were wearing old clothes and speaking strange English.

“Where are we?” Emily asked.

“I think we are in the past,” said Jack.

The villagers looked scared. One man shouted, “Witches!”

The friends ran away and found a big church.

Inside, a monk was reading a book.

He looked at them and said, “You do not belong here.”

The book started to shine with golden light.

In a second, the friends were back in the park.

The stone arch was gone. Only the fog remained.

Sarah looked at her hand and saw an old coin.

“Was it real?” she asked.

Nobody answered, but the coin shone in the moonlight.

Every Halloween night, the fog comes back to the same place.
