The lady that we shadowed was so nice and really liked to give us information on what things are and was really good about letting us come in to patients rooms to observe. I wish they would have told us more about what they were doing even if it was just a simple teeth clean. But overall it was an awesome experience and i'm kinda sad we had to leave. I didn't think I was gonna like going to the dentist cause you have to be all in peoples mouth but that procedure kinda changed the way I feel about it. I got to see all different types of injuries and how they recovered over time. We saw a lot of patients who had shoulder and knee injuries. A lot of the physical therapy included exercises to regain strength where it had been lost, and gaining mobility in those areas.

I didn’t do much at ark but when I was at trinity I got to see two surgeries one was a wisdom teeth removed and another was a teeth removal that had cavities.
