Before boarding, our temperatures were taken but no masks required. Cruised. Ports abroad seemed normal. Got back to FL. As we debarked hundreds were arriving for next cruise. Got our car. As we drove up I95 to Fernandina, I just happened to turn on the radio. They were announcing Trump had shut the ports and airports. Shocked! We've always felt so lucky because those passengers going on the next cruise had to remain on the boat for several days longer when they returned and Gov. DeSantis finally let the ships dock. We made a bad decision upon returning home: We watched everyone of President Trumps afternoon news conferences. He took center stage each time. As the events went by he soon took a different path which proved fatal to hundreds of thousands of his fellow Americans. I remember thinking he'd stop interrupting everyone, listen, and unite the country behind the scientific evidence so Covid could be stopped. The photos captured so much about the pandemic and how it affected the residents of Fernandina Beach.  
We just moved here last May, a year later than originally planned due to Co-vid.  We purchased our home sight unseen but couldn't be happier.
