MissionGo is an organization that provides unmanned aircrafts that offer the ability to transport vital organs for transplantation. This process is in the beginning stages, however MissionGo has successfully flown a set of corneas as well as a research kidney. These organs/tissues had a short commute, the longest being 10.6 miles. With two successful trials, there is hope within the medical community that this innovation will advance and be able to serve a vast number of patients.
These aircrafts resemble that of a drone, and are controlled by an aviation pilot from the ground. By decreasing the amount of man power, the goal is to increase the efficiency and decrease the cost and carbon footprint associated with current organ transport. (Ferng, 2020)

I support the innovation of unmanned aviation to assist in the transportation of organs. This process sheds light on the possible enhancements being developed that hope to increase quick and reliable transport of bodily organs to their new recipients. As with many new innovations, of course, there will be obstacles to overcome such as technical difficulties, cost, and flight distance. Currently there have been two successful transports completed, however the longest transit was 10.6. miles (Ferng 2020). Overtime, I am confident that the flight distance will increase as further information presents itself. In addition to distance, there is also the challenge of not knowing the viability or long term effects of organs who have traveled via an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).
Despite these obstacles, as well as others, it is apparent of the possible benefits that this innovation can bring to the world of medicine and organ transplantation. Being able to transport vital organs to their recipients while saving time and resources is the forward progress the organ procurement field needs. In addition to being able to transport organs, Dr. Scalea proposes this can be used to fly blood and medications as well (Scalea, 2020).
Overall, I support the efforts in place to implement UAS with organ transplants and acknowledge the trials that will accompany rolling out this new technology.

*Restorative- This strength can be beneficial in a working group because it's member enjoys the breakdown of finding a solution. Restorative members can also bring expertise to the group from past experiences.
*Responsibility- Responsibility can play a vital role in group collaborations. Being responsible as a group member strengthens group dynamics because these members are able to commit and complete tasks. Reliable members.
*Learner- Having a learner in a group can be helpful by they way they are interested in seeking new information and applying it to assignments.
*Harmony- Harmony encourages good communication and interaction amongst group members.
*Achiever- Being an achiever can be challenging, but helpful in a group setting. Achievers run off of drive and like to be successful.
