Activity 1
After implementing the activity, the first thing I was able to reflect on is my choice of the two leaders. I have chose the former Egyptian President Mohamed Anwar El Sadat , and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. From my perspective, I believe that the two leaders have a lot in common, despite the fact that they are from a totally, two different countries , different culture, different religion , and different leader's position. However, I am very convinced that they both had the same message , the same traits , and the same positive influences influences on their nation. I think what makes them great leaders is that both are very brave, and very confident.it is just fascinating to think about how both of them are having strong verbal ability, and perceptual ability, and reasoning that appears to allow them to achieve their dreams , to fight for equal lives and peace for their people. Needless to say that it has been very intense time in the United states and in Egypt as well when it comes to politics. Thus, if I can go back in place and time , I would ask about the reasons that makes us as nations suffer from all the politics that made us divided and separated from one another. considering both leaders incredible history, i would believe that they would say that a successful leader has to have determination, the desire to get the job done, the passion for serving all people not only their own people and parties, and to continue a non violent journey that would lead to great victories !

Activity #2
I have worked with two great leaders in my previous school district, the instructional leader , and the academic specialist. They both had such a great impact on my instruction quality. In fact, I have never felt that our relationship means that they are my boss, In other words, I never felt that there is any tension in the relation. I always felt that we are a team , and that is what makes me have a lot of respect to them.
they were great listeners, they also have similar positive spirits that always helped me from falling apart because of students challenging behaviors. I have learned from them how utilize my passion for teaching, how to have a big heart for the kids that would always makes me think before i respond. I have experienced what is open minded in practical world, they helped me to become more creative as they were always open to any new ideas, but not just that ,they would take the time to help me promote and develop these ideas. Even their were criticizing sometime, but I always felt it is very constructive. They make me feel that I belong, and that I have the power to influence the kids' future Their continued motivation, encouraging, and problem solving skills made me very determined to be a better teacher.
Activity #3
Reflecting on organizing the list of qualities that a leader should have, I was able to come to a conclusion that each quality would lead to the other. In my opinion, in order to be a leader
the first quality that you should consider is the intellect and the technical experience , you should be able perform and demonstrate the requirements and the skills
of the job, then you can think about how you develop your social awareness through understanding people's needs and desires, however in order to be successful in this , you would have self awareness about your own emotion and to be capable of managing your own positive and negative emotions which would lead to developing and maintaining positive relations which is a very essential factor to a successful coaching , and managing conflict skills.

Activity #4
the most important group that I found my self to be their life time leader and coach are my sons, and how my role has to be the most vital one to then as I guide them through life , offer advice, and help them develop new skills every day in order to accomplish their life goals and to be successful . I believe that whet they are looking for in me is not only the materialistic needs but also the spiritual, and intellectual needs. Being granted the title of educator, I have to realize the important of my role as it is not only teaching the curriculum and the state standards . It is necessary to understand that we also should be teaching our students life skills in order to be successful . Through my ESL teaching career , I found that most of students want it me to be a good listener , to support them academically as well as emotionally , to understand their differences, backgrounds, needs and abilities and the most important trait that they want their teacher to have to have perseverance, so they don't give up on them. My role as a lead EL teacher with quite different , as i was in charge of not only individuals but also an organization or department. In fact, it as a very challenging position as it requires fulfilling several different tasks which helped me to develop important skills such as, strong communication skills , the ability to understand policies and convince others to follow through which is the least enjoyable
thing to me. In conclusion, I believe that more roles you are taking on or getting exposed to the more experience you gain and the more persistence you develop and the keys to successful leadership role is he ability to understand others' needs and desires and to diligently work on meeting those needs and to make your people shine.

As I completed each activity about inspirational leaders, leaders in my life, my personal model of leadership and who I lead I found that in all of them strong decision making is a key trait of being an effective and influential leader. Having the ability to make a decision based on what you want, what you are looking for and what you need and be confident with the decision is a quality I feel is important in a leader. As I thought about the people in my own life, whom I consider a leader, they all had this strong decision making quality. They all knew what their vision was for projects, meetings and relationships. They were all very intentional in what they did and helped guide others to do their very best to be successful. When I looked at my own model of leadership and who I lead I realized that I am not part of many groups in which I need to lead. However, the few I am involved in I realized that others do rely on me for guidance, ideas and explanations. Traits of a good leader may vary depending on what the person is leading, however, some traits I believe are important include effective decision making, determination, honesty and being supportive. These are the qualities I want to have when I look at how I lead

After completing the activities and reflecting on them I noticed common leadership traits that I value in others and that I personally aspire to. I clearly value leaders and aspire to be a leader who consistently demonstrates:

Moral character-choosing the right and the good, believing in a just society for all and the moral obligation to make that happen

Integrity-consistently aligning words and actions with the moral belief of the just and the good for all

Listener-intentionally seeking to understand the thoughts, emotions, strengths, and needs of others

Compassion-having heightened empathy for others and the courage to act upon that empathy

Strong communicator- the ability to connect with people and clearly present your vision, your "why"

There are many other traits of course, but I do believe that possessing these five creates a framework for being an effective leader in any setting, be it coach, teacher, administrator, father, husband, or friend.

This four-part activity reminded me that there are a lot of great leaders who have gone before us and great leaders who are leading today. Some are famous and will be remembered for thousands of years. Some great leaders might live next door to me or work just down the hall from my classroom and their names won't make the history books. That does not matter. What matters is that the person was a great leader who made a positive difference in someone's life. I will never forget the three best leaders in my life. I look up to them even though a couple of them are not at my school anymore. I hope to develop the qualities, characteristics, and attitudes they model in their daily lives, so I will be an effective teacher leader in my school and beyond the building's walls as a leader in life. I want to be someone that my niece and my students look up to...someone who thrived (not just survived) because she was resilient.
